Random post just sharing my results here. I’m a pretty active dude but was drinking a lot of soda and eating all the ridiculous amounts of free food we get at work (motion picture industry) and was at 215lbs when this COVID crap started in March. Ive been 215 for a while. I’m 6’2” and decided I hated the extra weight I was carrying and decided to do something about it. In Mid April I started a full body dumbbell regiment with the bow flex select tech dumbbells that I have and hitting my heavy bag on the days that I wasn’t lifting any weights. Also started eating much cleaner, smaller portions, and more frequently. Today was 3 months since I started and I’ve dropped 21lbs. Anyways, feels really good to not have a tire around my waist anymore (even though I’ve still got a ways to go). My joints are happy with the extra weight off me. Scale showed 193.8lbs this morning. I think I’m gonna try to get down between 185-190lbs and stay there and work on consistently getting stronger

    Yeah, no.

I think in the south you have to pick your poison. Get up early and run while its cool but the dew point sucks, or run in the PM once the sun starts burning off a little of the moisture but its hot as hell.

I actually ran a good time this morning despite the weather.
TN has hills! I always run my best times on hilly trails/paths.

You got it. Personally I don't notice much difference in 80 degrees and 98% humidity in the morning and 98 degrees and 80% humidity in the afternoon. Strangely enough, I actually prefer afternoons, but end of the day, either sucks.

Yep. But the only way it gets easier to run in shitty weather is to run in shitty weather lol.
At least this is what I repeat in my head while I’m out there lol

VA feels just like Houston. Feels like temp of 112 and 90% humidity. Sucks.

So I was feeling good doing 3x12 incline DB presses at 75lbs when this dude comes and sits next to me doing flat DB presses with 140’s. Fucking A. There’s some strong ass people out there

You are probably too lean. Each % of BF is like 7% strength. Get up to 20% and you'd be pushing 120's.

    Be well.

So, at his 13% BF, he should be at 91%, not much room to improve. ;)
