Only thing I don't like about it is that it isn't done. I have about 3 hours to go to fill the inner forearm. My artist was 4 months pregnant March 1st and stopped working before things here started closing for that reason. Fortunately she just had a healthy baby girl and if all goes well will be going back to work in November. I don't get them in the summer anyways.

Nah, the demon is wearing pants though his boobs are showing

I enjoy the low carb keto quite a bit. I truly wonder how much is individual vs how much is it that we train our bodies based on how we eat.

When I trained for my first marathon I couldn’t make it through a 16-18 mile run without it being pure hell and suffering.
Everyone just told me to bang down all these Guus and I’d be fine.
    I was miserable.

Obviously I did keto last year and I’ve been doing IF for like 10-11 months now?

I did a 16 mile trail run fasted today (I ate two bugs on accident, hopefully it still counts as fasted).

    ZERO problems.

I’m of the camp you are what you eat. You eat a bunch of carbs you will be victim to your insulin levels, you don’t you won’t.

Also why does HGH raise blood glucose?

Did your fiance do the IF for long?

How is she doing in this COVID world with her training?

I believe the camp, lol. So true man!

Also, I don't remember the reasons behind the increase blood glucose, I'd have to dig up my notes.

Fiance isn't doing too bad. She's stressed with wedding crap and that has taking more it's toll than the covid. She just can't find the motivation to get back at it. She's in good shape, but much much to go for her big day. I believe she'll pull through though...

She's not doing If anymore. She did do it for probably 3-4 months. She's still low carbs, but states she's "too hungry to If" anymore. All good. She usually makes it 12 hours, not really enough time, but better than me lol.

It takes some adjustment. I also find I do much better if my last meal is minimal on carbs then it helps.
But I could easily go 24 hours without food if I’m busy. Its when I’m bored at work that I struggle lol

Tell her to hang in there and don’t stress TOO much. Supposed to be a happy time. :)

I am very far from cool.

Nothing you can see with a suit on. I am a big fan of throat/neck tattoos but zero chance I am ever able to do that.

    Get one when you retire.

Except pretty sure attorneys never retire lol

Biglaw partners never retire because they do very little work and continue to get paid ridiculous amounts of money. I work at the biggest firm in a smaller town of the DC suburbs. So it's not a huge firm but I am not solo. There are two types of attorneys in this "small law" arena - those that will die at their desk, and those that retire at 55/60. I hope to be the latter. And then, yes, throat tats are in order.

    You are younger right? (30s)

I feel like some of it is generational. I feel younger folks don’t necessarily want to work forever like the older guys do.

Yep - 33. Could be generational. But I don't think we will know until we are that older generation haha.

The Senior Partner at my firm is damn near 80 and still works hard but he plays hard too. Takes all of July off every year to travel and does plenty of other traveling traveling throughout the year, owns a plane he flies every week, golfs whenever he wants. Not a bad deal.

    He doesn't even lift though...

I've worked for two very small firms. One head partner was 83 the other head partner was 75. They still had insane passion, drive, and energy lol.

I watched the movie Just Mercy this weekend and it reminded me as rewarding and wonderful trial law is, it's also equally soul sucking. My friends who are new attorneys I think recognize that and don't think they can physically and emotionally be in the job for 40 years. But you are right, we will only know 40 years from now LOL. It would be hard for me to do that job that long.

Well, a week long moose hunting trip happening on the first of the month. Unfortunately going to fuck up operation girthlessisworthless bulk... I mean “massing” phase, and disrupt training. I will probably only eat meat and trail mix and come back leaner!? Or just starve to death and never be heard from again.

Get a moose and pack it out all by yourself and then WAHHH LAAA it doesnt count as skipping a workout.

Eat the organs and you’ll hit your macros.

I’m jealous too. Never been moose hunting.

I’m jealous of the hunting part. I don’t camp so that whole living in tents thing I’m not jealous of.
