    what do you guys do to prevent stretch marks ? i know by the looks of it most of you guys are skinny guys trying to build muscle, so its probably not an issue. im the opposite im a big guy that keeps in shape by lifting. im 6 foot 225lb

    I've been using Aveeno for a little over a month now, to hard to tell if its stopping them from getting worse. Never really cared, but now they are creeping into my tattoo's. I'd be interested in seeing what other people are doing about this if they even care.

    i was a huge guy 300lbs went from 200 to 300 in about 2 years, grew all kinds of stretch marks, now im back down to 275 and still leaning out. best advise it to get big or to get small slowly, the slower your body change size the better chance you have to let your skin catch up. i got stretch marks on my bicep, shoulder and even forearm, cuz they got big so fast. also keeping yourself lean. it will get rid of stretch marks.

    I've heard the slower the better like t4r4life said. That and I've seen a dude who was big years ago and his stretch marks were all but gone now.....get lean and stay lean!

    True that. I remember I have dropped weight on bench at least three or four times because i realize my form wasnt correct. I try to do the best form I can but its difficult by yourself. Everyone at the gym (college) just want to get the body. Kid told me its okay to bounce the weights on dumbbell bench. I was like the fuck you saying?

    Tuesday Saturday Sunday i rest

    So heres what happened with the girl, i was doing dips on the little dip machine, i warm up on that for arm day, me and my gym buddy.

    Kida cute but chubby trainer comes up and introduces her self and get our names what we do etc.... At this point im being perfectly nice to her, she wants to train us or take us through a work out. We both politely said no thank you and she continued talking about how my workouts are incorrect, she contradicted herself 4 times that i caught on push/pull what to do and what not to do. Then said no i need to train you guys your working out wrong, my buddy got kinda smart and was like well i can deadlift 425 10 times and thats what i want so i know what I'm doing, she proceeded to say he needed to tone up for summer and she truely became annoying! She pointed at her shirt ( La Fitness Pro Results) and stated she was the pro and obviously knew what was right.

    How would you guys have handled that? I found it annoying, not that she approached and offered help, thats cool and i'm all ears, but i think she took it too far.

    look at her. Point to the mirror that she can see herself in...grab one of her love handles, shake it, and say " I dont think you're a pro yet ".....watch her burn tear calories immediatly.
