Big yoke day today. I forget how much that movement takes a toll on the body, fuck....

Felt good to do a heavy yoke though. I have only done yoke once in a comp and it was pretty light.

 

When’s the next comp for you? There’s a iron podium in January in North Carolina that my buddy asked me to go to and I’m contemplating it

Only lost 5 pounds while out moose hunting. Operation Obesity will continue.

Ah shit. Coming up fast.

 

No Saw one bull about 1200 yards away, spent 3+ hours moving in his direction and then hear 8 gunshots from where he had been moving toward. I turned around and walked straight back to the boat. Saw a shit ton of cows and calves.

Definitely was.
In some locations in the southeast, especially around blacktail season, bears will come to the sound of gunshots because they know they will get any remains left over, they move in pretty quick. I have a buddy that hunts out of his boat, he’ll shoot them, go to shore and load it up and clean it once it’s back on the boat to avoid looking over his shoulder as much. He’ll have fun!
