So the issue with my elbow turns out to be a torn bicep tendon. I was wondering what that lump in my forearm was...it's my rolled up tendon!

So surgery and then a slooooooow comeback is ahead. Fuck.

Shhhiiiitttt. Gonna have to ease back into this slowly. Starting off with just 3 times a week in the morning before work. Would like to get back up to 4-5 miles again.

So after todays run I wrote my program for my 50k (4 weeks) and 50M (10 weeks out).

Realized, shit I only have 3 weeks to practice fueling. So I had to run to the store.

First time I have ever been happy I was wearing a gaitor in public.
I walk up to the checkout with this loot and see someone I know. So glad I wasn’t recognized because this person would so think I’m a fucking liar on my lifestyle

You were kicking ass before doing like 5 miles on trails at a nice pace. And I think that was in TX heat which is like worth double brownie points

    Wise choice.

Liquid carbs are the most effecient refueling method

And actually there are elite runners who smoke weed to help them fight nausea in ultras. :rasta:
Thought if you when I heard that.

Does that stuff make you more hungry than beer?

Cause after like 3 IPAs I typically raid my pantry and fridge for carbs.

It depends on the strain. Sometimes I get the munchies hard other times nothing. But I was already hungry after a 6 mile hike in the sun. And their pizza and beer is so damn good. Probably my favorite pizza of all time
