To my knowledge no one pooped themselves this race.
I didn’t crap myself, pee myself, or throw up.

Some say that makes the race a success others say it means failure.

Those woods chewed me up and spit me out. I’m gonna have to run the same race next year. I can’t let this course beat me.

I’m writing this at 1am because I can’t sleep. I keep waking up every hour because I’m having nightmares of getting lost in the woods lol

I’m getting the vibe there isn’t much comparison to running long distances and lifting Lol.

Recovery from these things is no joke. I feel like I got the flu, got hit by a car, and was left for dead.

The first race of almost any distance is the roughest though. It gets easier each race.

You fo got the mo problems part

That works too. I’m tired of sitting on my ass all day so if you could do that for me it would be appreciated.

For CrossFit comps I usually take it easy for the week after.

Hardest comp I’ve done was 8 event over two day and I was pretty shot. I got in on Wednesday (comp was on the weekend) to get moving but it was basically super low key week.

Frost local comps are less intense and only one day events so I’m usually back in on Monday. But same I make it a deload week.

Do you lift to supplement your endurance trading? And on the running side how much short distance speed work do you do?

    Yes I do lift.

You need to define short distance speed work.

I do intensity sessions 1-2 times a week. Some interval but a lot of tempos. Usually 7-10 miles worth.
    That qualifies as short right?

    I disagree.
I competed for two years before I bought anything more than a belt.
Wrap them in athletic tape or duct tape if you don’t want it raw like a real man.

Duct tape with the sticky side out is one I learned early lol Sucks taking it all back off though.

As my coach says: it's called Strongman not pleasant man.

    Embrace the hurt.

Should’ve got into this sport years ago. Sucks getting in late and it’s a “you have to put in the work over time” sport so you can’t just get in and go hard.

    Tren. I need tren.

Lmao not anymore. Hard finding any strongman show with out a deadlift event in it these days.

It's becoming the highlight of pro shows and WSM/Arnold.
