Did you have an MRI for your shoulder/back?

Nope. It was spasming at the Dr and he got it to release. Plus it was super inflamed and he could feel it. He said a full rhomboid tear is nearly impossible unless you are really trying to tear it. So he was confident saying it's micro tears without MRI.

Guess we'll see if it doesn't get better lol

It sounded like a random question but someone at work asked me today if I've ever taken Xanax for my anxiety. I said only when I got my MRI on my shoulder because, who wouldn't have a panic attack in those tubes?

Wondered if you had one because I have no idea how they get bigger guys in those machines. When I was in there the tube was like 2 inches from my nose and didn't seem much wider than my shoulders.

Glad to hear you avoided such an experience.

Lmao never had one so I'm not sure if I'd fit or not. Fuck that though I HATE confined spaces like that.

I think just about everyone would have a panic attack when put into those things. And you have to sit in there for like 30-40 minutes because the imaging takes so long.

They give you a panic button to hold too if you freak out it stops the scan and lets you out lol

I have had a couple, the first time they let me bring in a CD of music (wtf is a CD?) and gave me headphones. That made it a lot better.

They made a point of asking me if I was a welder too as apparently welders can get tiny pieces of metal embedded in their eyes and the magnet will pull them out. Imagine being the poor bastard they discovered that on? <shudder>

My uncle has metal in his eyes so he can't get MRIs. Also prison tats are a no-go because they could have metal in the ink.

The CD thing is funny. While running my ultra I was talking to some older folks about GPS watches. Like.... how did you track your run before watches and apps? The guy was like "I used to run without a watch, an app, a phone, AND without music"

    *mindblown*

I recently bought a 12 of Sam Adams Winter Lager. I'm so ashamed but I do enjoy that beer. I also enjoy Fat Tire and Guinness. But I prefer to avoid the macros for the most part. Since COVID I really have tried to only buy local micros.

It has been about a year since I've had a Miller Lite. I just assume not drink at that point. Coors Light and Bud Light? gag.

Big fan of a natural light while working outside, or any other time really. That’s my cheap beer of choice.
