    Hell yeh man. SSB is on my short list. I got some STrong elbow sleeves and a pulley system that attaches to my squat rack.

    Zero gifts this year between hubs and I. Saving our pennies for a big trail running trip in the mountains this year. So fitness gift is still pending.

    @mindstar
    Pretty cool backyard 100M this guy did after moving to BC. It is beautiful country.

    @St. Swervus went for a run this morning in the low teens, my poor head phones crapped out me by mile 2.

    Any good recommendation for headphones that last through the elements? Especially rain.

    I don't use them. As a matter of fact I don't own any. I give the ones that come with any phone I get to my daughters. I'v got a buddy who runs that swears by Jaybirds. He's a pilot and knows a thing or two about audio/headphone/earbud tech. I prefer the environmental sounds and my own thoughts. And even better when I get it all to go quiet.

    Round 2. Comp event training for the few weeks left. Last heavy week. Mentally just want to get the 280lb stone up so I can be half ass confident in the comp

    When I was doing my ultra I didn’t turn on any music but in training if I’m not running with someone I like tunes, podcasts, or audiobooks.

    I do hear a lot about Jaybirds so I will check them out.

    Thats whatI was gonna say LOL

    What alititudes are around you?

    On the island it’s typically between 0 and 700m...it gets higher mid island but that’s a good average for the rest of the island. There’s a 225m hill right next to my house which makes a fun run if you like silly shit like that :D

    299.9lbs checking in. Time to level off the calories and stick right around here until Jan 23rd. I'll probably weigh-in day before comp around 292lbs then fuel up and be 300lbs come show time. We had planned to jump to 310ish but with prep injuries I didn't push it, plus I'm just going to have fun and not really push myself.

    I am feeling A LOT leaner this go around at 300lbs. Last time I was pretty fluffy and felt bloated and slow.

    Side note: I sure wish my legs would match up with the top half mass...

    If your shoulders weren’t so huge then you wouldn’t look so too heavy.
