Anybody here ever have a hernia repaired? Also, I wish I had a doctor buddy who could run my back through an MRI machine without paying a left nut.
    I need cheap solutions lol

I have had an inguinal hernia repair done. They sewed in some meshing to hold everything in place. It’s one of the most common surgeries. Just find a surgeon your comfortable with and make sure they are using the most current approved meshing.

Yeah way back when I was 13. I remember a fast recovery but I wasn’t an athlete then.

Shop around for your MRI services. Say you’ll pay out of pocket. You may be able to get one for $600-$800 if its a no contrast image pay upfront.

I’ve called one place that said they could do it but I would need to pay for a doctor consult before and after. I don’t give a shit what the doctor says I want to see an mri. I will probably just shell out the money eventually.

Like you just want them to do an MRI then send you home with it so you can review it?

    Why?
MRI price includes a radiologist report, granted they may require a physician order.

I would recommend seeing a surgeon though if you think you have a surgical issue. Most surgeons can tell you if you need surgery without an image. Then you can decide if you do surgery now or first thing in 2022 and get your MRI then. So it all goes on the same years out of pocket max.

Thats what I did for my knee.

Yeah, don’t need to be paying $80 an hour for a doctor to point to a fucked up disc that I can clearly see on my own.
