When I tore my hamstring a few year back I eventually went and got an MRI which I paid out of pocket for. $350 included a radiologist’s interpretation and they sent me home with a digital copy of the MRI.

I’m currently uninsured right now. I’ll die in my house before I’ll see a doc.

    I feel your pain.

@Travish325 … think 30lbs in a month is too extreme of a cut for a comp?

Yeah it is if you have never done a real cut before. You're gonna be weak as fuck and probably not make weight.... That's a hard one to do without having experience doing water cuts and knowing your body.

If you're a big ol fat boy it's easier, but you're a little fat boy so idk lol

But can you destroy the 181 class after cutting 30lbs that quick... You can try it but make sure you keep an eye on your kidney function and have an IV to rehydrate right after you weigh in.

I've seen guys go into renal failure from water cuts and it's ugly.

I won’t ever do a water cut again. Last time I put myself through that my wife had to pull me out of the bathtub. The whole time the only thing I could think of was the song Cool Water by Marty Robbins. Wasn’t able to recover by show day, felt weak as a kitten. Still won the 175 lb class lol

It’s just cause the weight classes have to make different lifts. The lower classes have lighter weights to lift.

im sitting around 210 naturally. So im gonna be competing with big dudes who sit at 235 and cut down to make the 220 cut off.

orrr I can cut all the water and weight and drop into the 181 class and have much more comfortable weights

Usually can weigh in day before from like 10am-7pm ish. So afterwards you get an IV for an hour or so then refeed. It's hell on your kidneys though.

Either fill out to 225-230 and weight cut to 220, or train at 190 and then weight cut to 180. You’re asking for health issues trying to cut 30lbs
