Cool. I'll look him up. Thanks!

I'm surprised how challenging the "how to breathe" part is for me. The mental checklist might be down to 20 from 30, but I'm only really a year in on this journey. I'm proud of what I've managed so far. :)

I’m gonna cut for this upcoming comp for once. Gonna be about a 15lb cut. I just want to see how I perform and how it feels.

It’s in motion. Blood kit ordered and all that. Found a couple places that do hormone replacement therapy local but they don’t work with insurance. So had to find a cost effective way of going about it cause fck spending $300-$400/month on it lol

Yeah if its not “medically necessary” can’t bill insurance.

Gear is expensive. Add in a coach and a good gym holy crap you are $1,000/mo in it.

Finally back in the gym after a 4 month hiatus. Hiberniatus? Something. PPL routine. I do what Joe Bennett (@hypertrophycoach) says to do.

It bothers me a little how so many people can get hormone treatments and medicine for “changing gender” or pain medicine cause “everything hurts”

but someone wants to just get their test to optimum/high levels or use some stuff to recover faster and it’s suddenly the end of the world.

but whatevaaa. I’ll find a way to make stuff happen. As for $1,000/month fck that. My coach is $100/month. Gym is $60.

TRT was frustrating as hell to work on as litigation cases because all men had to do was go into their doctor and bitch they had low energy and they got TRT. 60-70 year old guys who were 100+lbs over weight, smokers, and diabetics.

Maybe we want to try not being a lazy unhealthy asshole and see how that helps first lol.

Unfortunately these guys suffered cardiac events because of the TRT (hence the suits). But I felt that was mostly because you don't put people with all those cardiac risk factors on TRT and not monitor them.

When we are talking about people who are well trained athletes who are a healthy body weight, exercise, eat well, sleep well, don't smoke and overall place their general health in a much higher regard than the average person, I think those are your better candidates for TRT and they aren't at risk for those negative consequences.

But no we are going to give the high risk lazy people all the drugs.

    I agree with your frustrations.

How the hell is your coach only $100/mo? That's a good deal.

The folks I know that compete have nutrition coaches, posing coaches (if physique) and then coaches for their training. Probably all in $400/mo at least for those. Especially if you want the good coaches.

I know a hybrid coach for me was $400-$500 just because of how unpopular that combo is. Not many people do it and those who do are really good.
