I’m hooked and having the kiddos just makes me want it more. To show them that shit gets hard and it takes time but consistency and dedication will get you placed.
    Appreciate the love(not sarcasm) man.

I think I’m starting to eat too much....

Yesterday afternoon I was home and ended up BBQing 2 truffle burger patties & 2 pork sausages(friend of mine shot the pig up north). I cooked all of the meat so it wouldn’t spoil and go to waste. I ended up eating all of it plus has 2 colors lights and a bowl of ice cream

If I keep it up, I’ll be a fat bastard and have to do disgusting amounts of cardio.

If most of us posted what we ate in a day I think you would look like that chick on a date that picks are her salad LOL

I'm cutting right now at 2500-2800 cals a day. And I actually probably eat the least of anyone here. @Travish325 will probably the winner on caloric intake, and if you don't count the guy walking to and from his car at the gym he probably does 0 cardio.

Also  to "2 colors lights".
    Damn auto correct!!

Drink better beer and be well :)

I run 3-5x a week outside of the gym and do strict cardio workouts (stationary bike) 2x a week. A good mix of lifting and cardio.

Argh, Auto Correct got me. Coors Light.

I usually do drink better beer, when I have one. I’ll switch it up once in a while. Mind Haze, 805, Lagunitas Day Time, Coors Light, Etc. I try not to drink alcohol too often. 1) It’s not healthy 2) I’m not a huge fan of running 3) Don’t want my belly area to grow or develop bigger handles that I don’t love.

Figured. Not many people can stay lean without the cardio.

    How much do you run?

You can have an alcoholic beverage a day without it being a health issue. Its not the poison people make it out to be.

Quality beer is caloric though. I am sitting here sipping my 10% Belgian Quad. Lol

I’m ok with cutting calories elsewhere, running more, or perhaps accept racing at 12% BF this year instead of 10%.

Life just sucks without beer so I’m not giving it up. Even if my consumption isn’t considered ideal for my health. Its probably the only real vice I have though. Unless you count an obsessive compulsive need to run for hours and end up in the same place I started.

I run about 2-3 miles @ 8min pace. Nothing crazy but its hard to maintain under 10% body fat with 0 cardio. The more I run, the more muscle I seem to lose (especially in my legs). I used to run 6-7 miles a day but I looked like a toothpick.

I don't struggle with mass loss, just mass gain to begin with. It's hard to get in those quality leg days on top of a bunch of running. I was able to add a bit of leg mass here recently on about 30 miles a week. I'm starting to breach 50 miles a week now. Leg days are turning more into what looks like PT sessions.

If I can keep up the eating and do some heavier lifting I can keep the mass on. Trail running helps with the leg mass too.

100% right. I should definitely incorporate sprinting. Long distance is just way more fun to me (and easier).
