    Damn really? I take in 160 grams of protein a day just in shakes. I hit closer to the 220 range after food.

    i take in 3-400g of protein when im try to get bigger. Mostly lean meat like chicken and 99% fat free turkey. after i eat all my "real" food, i take the rest using whey.
    take this meal for example 155g of protein right der

    2 work outs in the span of a 42hour fasting. and i still fucking killed it on my back day 44sets, 52900lbs lifted and 2 hours later. thank god for craze and creatine.

    Well yes I understand that I need more than protein to gain muscle mass. But still...I can't afford to be buying protein all the time. : P. I do take it twice a day on most days. 25 g a serving. Sometimes with 4 scrambled eggs for a (roughly) 50 g protein meal.

    you do know its only 1g protein per LEAN BODY MASS right? unless you are 3% bodyfat you don't really need to eat too much protein.

    I would like to do 200 g a day for month just to see what kind of gains I'd make, if any. But I really hate counting all that stuff. I just don't like the feeling of being full all day. haha.

    And I really like my protein in milk, but only drink it with milk after 3 pm, cuz milk gives me gas. -__- I won't even look at milk in the morning, let alone drink it, or I'll really have the $h!t$ :laugh:

    But it's sooo good with milk! Tastes like garbage with just water. :p

    I no longer enjoy the taste of my supps, so i usually get that shit thick as fuckand just get it down. Real food is where its at, but its much harder to count macros with real food.

    Leg day today, i swtich to high rep pyramid sets since my last leg day was a over load day.
    Quad extension 6 sets of 10-15
    ham curl 6 sets of 10-15
    hip abductors 12 sets of 10-15
    stiff-legged deadlift 5 sets of 10-12
    leg press double parymid sets 12 sets of 8-12
    back squats 3 sets of 4-6
    front squats 6 sets of 10-15

    True. I use the app you showed me and find items that are close and just kinda use it as a guideline as too what else I need in the day ei more carbs, protien ect ect.


    Alright so I have a month and a half of school left so I'm going to start cutting this monday. Will still lift heavy to try to keep muscle but will be dropping cals and doing much more cardio.

    Little cutting update as well:
    ever since 01/01/13 i started my cut at 289lbs and 35%BF, its been almost 4 month and right now im weighting in at 263 26.5% BF.

    Both BF was measured with Omron BF Monitor under same condition(first thing in the morning post #2)Though not accurate it is great to keep track.

    Actually kept my strength thanks to reload days and deload weeks. planning cut till 6/1/13 and hopefully get around 20% and start lean bulk for another 6 month.

    I would just add cardio and see what happens. from the last pic you posted you don't really have that much mass to sacrifice calories, so the best way to do your cut would be same calories and macros but make it a deficit by cardio, that way your body still get the nutrience to maintance and build but cut fat at the same time, remember you want to cut at the most optimal rate, not the fastest rate.

    Is anyone here logging there workouts on Fitocracy?

    If you are follow me: Doc_Holliday

    Its an awesome work out site where you log your workouts. Its gotten way more out of me as far as workouts. Everything you log gets points so its kinda like the xbox360 achievement model, which gets addictive. Same thing with this.. for eg you get an achievement if you do standing dumbbell shoulder press 0.3x body weight. Or say 20 reps at 135lb for squats or whatever. theres 100s of them.

    Cool stuff and highly recommend it. Making a social networking site based around fitness is genius. You give props and shit to people, snoop on their workouts..kinda like facebook i guess.

    Plus you want to beat all your friends by having the most amount of points so you find yourself doing some pushups or burpies on a Sunday (to say get the log a sunday workout bonus. ) which you would have never done without the Fitocracy.

    What about carbs and fats? Those macros also play a role in size..if you are cutting then I would cut down the carbs and up the proteins some to support lbm.

    Some respond better to med pro med carb and high fat..we're all different, but high intake of protein, and low everything else I doubt will help u build...besides, when protein gets too high it can cause ur PH levels to whack out, so make sure you're taking in LOTS of green veggies to help balanced it out.

    That's one thing i don't do, i know its terrible to me but i don't eat veggies. last time i had a real serving of vegetable and not in a can, i was 12 years old. i like lettuce and a little bit of tomatoes but i pretty much hate all other veggies, makes me gag when i try to eat it.

    So you're basically saying that I just dont have a lot of meat on my bones to lower the calories? Just clearifying. And thanks for the tips I'll try that. I do wanna get pretty lean for summer, for obvious reasons :rolleyes: and I noticed a change in my stomach when I did diet so I hope I can see change again. When I started bulking all the progress just went away at the snap of a finger.

Much more but i will keep it simple.
    I'm a picky eater too. It sucks but I hate the taste of it all. Even force feeding myself veggies over and over trying not to puke my body doest crave them. My girls like Mmmmmmmm salad. I think about meat and almost drool all over but veggies and stuff don't even come across my mind. She could go a week on veggies and I can't go 2 hours
