Whats your guy's thoughts on Mass Gainers?

I just started taking BioX Nitro Juice Gainer.
    First week is 2.5 scoops/500 cal/25g pro - twice a day
Second week on im suppose to double that

    Couple people recommended Mutant Mass

damn that sucks as far as ratioi goes, if i take 2.5 scoops of MTS whey, thats about 350 calorie, 13 carbs 8 fat and 63 protein. your mass gainer has less protein but shit load of carbs at 2.5 scoops about 83 grams. i guess if you don't like eating rice potatos and bread this would be a good way to go but wouldn't you like to eat real food instead?

Yeah i found out after i bought it that is not the best as far as ingredients go. When i first started i found it hard to get up to 3000+ cal/day with real food. And I have a hard time eating lots during the day. Any tips are appreciated

I find it hard to eat as well. If I jog or do a good 20 min of cardio I usually get an appetite a couple hours afterwards.

This is just what works for me it's not for everyone but i make sure i get at least 1g-1.5g of protein per lb bodyweight. 0.2g-0.3 fats per lb bodyweight, and fill out the rest of the calories with carbs.

I was told for my bodyweight i should be doing 2g/ lb of protein. That can get expensive, but ive been managing 1.5 avg lately

yeah buy chicken and beef and fish gets expensive that's why pound for pound protein powder is actually cheaper as far as protein goes. realisticlly as long as you get 1g per lb lean body mass you won't lose muscle. just do a lot of mass building excercise like heavy squats, heavy deadlifts and heavy bench, the big 3 is how powerlifters get big and strong. you arn't gonna build a whole lotta mass doing light isolation excercises.

Also there is nothing wrong with lifting 2 hours in the gym, for some people, like me who do max effort lifting i take a pretty long rest period, so when you look at it the actual lifting time is not that long, just make sure you hit your goal of the day don't worry about time that much.

Just remember, what may work for one will not work for another...sure, it may work for the guy on the magazine, but it doesn't mean it'll work for you...

....all of this supplement talk..I see nothing wrong with some Pre-workouts (PWR and MORPH ~non stimulant, great pumps and vascularity~) are fine, IMO. I also consume omega 3's, glutamine, and creatine, but your body cannot produce those and, IMO is needed for recovery and results (creatine helps with contractions, thus triggering muscle fibers)

Not to market ourselves, but I've also been on BIO-GRO for 3-4 weeks...I've kept my weight around the same and leaned out some...BIO-GRO is a legal protein synthesizer that contains growth factors in it...basically it absorbs protein at almost 2x the rate and is stim fee, cal free, tasteless, etc...think of it as fertilizer for your muscles.

Above all else, if your diet isn't on spot, then why use additional supplements other than the ones I just listed?

Read the same review at the bottom of the page on several of those "get ripped quick" schemes.
