I wouldn't worry about muscle, maybe strength in ways. But if you eat right and do cardio it will help you burn fat

I wouldn't be doing much cardio other then walking. Coming off heavy lifting and going into a lot of cardio, your body is going to eat that muscle quick. Stick to the body weight exercises, try to find some heavy nature shit to lift, carry, throw. Then do some walking here or there.
You're going to lose strength and size no matter what, but keeping those muscles worked and not doing too much cardio will delay that.

Plus, you have to consume massive amounts of food in order for your body to go to the gym, rep out 700+ lbs on squats, dead, bench, or whatever, and then recover. Not too mention carrying your 250lb+ ass around all day.
I've listened to some of those bigger guys, and it's amazing the amount of food they can and need to put away.

Eat right and the right amount is key for anyone training, but I admit strength trainers do weird stuff like GOMAD, a dozen eggs a day, and considering pizza a "good" food. :)

Did you see the Rock's diet on the yahoo headlines for his new movie "pain and gain"? Freakin ridiculous amount of food.

I can't even imagine how they stomach all that food! Not to mention the supplements!

No, but I can only imagine. I heard marky mark talk about it a bit. Said he was eating and sleeping all the time, minus when he had to work.
The Rock is a genetic freak. Pair awesome genetics and food with the right supplements, and yahtzee!!!

    Lol.

I would like to know his definition of "strong enough".

Just another Exerciser making excuses for not training heavy.

Why not just say your goal is to go thru the motions and look like every other wannabe in the gym.

Would you really like to know? Strong enough means strong enough! Do you really care how much I lift? I train 2 hours a day 6 days a week, I have been for 20 years. I don't care how much you lift or anyone else for that matter. I simply asked what people were doing to gain a little mass and get a little more ripped. I can easily bench 2 plates a side for 5 or 6. Does it matter? Is that strong enough for you? Lol

I tried doing what I think will make my body react more which is more reps. Did basically 6x8 back squats 4x8 front squats. Also 5x10 leg press and 3x8 extensions. Yeah its pretty hefty but I'll see if I notice any gains trying this for a couple weeks.

Broke PR on deads today with the new belt, old PR with no belt is 405x1, new PR with belt is 475x1 with DA BAD FORM lol not srs just a little rounding at the beginning. so my squat and my deads are tied.

Also quick review on the inzer belt. The belt is freaking top notch, still needs to be broken in but the support is amazing, its like someone fitted a steel pipe around your mid section, zero flexibility there, worth the money.

Pretty sure this dude at my gym uses roids... How can you tell by looking at a guy if he is juicing? And no I'm not going to examine his gonads to see if they are small.
