    Btw noticing a lotta funny stuff at this new gym im trying out(UFC), people doing shit non stop, shadow boxing jumping jacks between sets, fuck load of crossfit wanna be retards, people who flex infront of mirror, chicks that come in just to talk and look at themselves, lotta tap out shirts. at least nobody curls in the rack lol

    I think my knee is fucked. As I was doing squats my right knee felt like it had a ton of pressure. I continued on and afterwards it started to hurt. I bought icy/hot patches for it. Makes it feel better. But only temporary.

    dude if your knee is hurting before your hip you are doing it wrong, a proper squat that goes ass to grass does not get stopped because the knee's ability to flex, it's because you maxed out your hip rotation.

    My cheap one (bought at CVS) just keeps pressure on it, keepin everything where it's supposed to be. Usually makes it a little less painful to walk, at least. The one with metal braces on the side is the one I feel like would be better for me right now, though. It's actually my girlfriend's brother's. He got it after a knee surgery, then when he got done with it, I screwed mine up wakeboarding, so I used it. He's got it with him right now about 6 hours away, though. :(

    you should always go as far down as your can, you want to squat till your can rest comfortably at the bottom without any pain. your hip should taking most of the weight, and when you hit bottom you should always bounce off the hips not the knees, if people telling you going deep hurts your knee they do not know how to squat. matter of fact partial reps on squat really fucks up the knee

    how heavy are you squatting? cuz when i get up to 90%1rm all my bad habits starts to break out, weight shifting, knee flexing in, over arching.

    I did my max 5X5 Squats with 185# today. New goal achieved. Def noticed some bad habits as i did the first sets. I found it helpful to push with my arms up at the same time.
