Correct...diet first, gym 2nd, training 3rd...training will help burn the cals and assist with breaking down the muscle tissue, strength measuring,etc....diet (lifestyle is what I call it) is what will and does work.

I totally agree.. It's a lifestyle... not a diet or something like that... I want to live a certain way and this is it for me. Nothing else really matters. Do I cheat, sometimes. But it isnt often. I love my lifestyle and everyday it gets better and better

    OUCH:eek:

Yeah, this guy has been lifting for a while. He's a beast. He does a light and heavy day for each muscle group. Light days are low weight, high rep and heavy days are high weight, low rep. I've wanted to try it for a month or so, but I can't afford the food, being a broke college student with a minimum wage job at a gym lol. I eat a lot (3000 to 4000 cals a day, 200 g protein) and this dude makes me look like a punk haha.

Is that you, man? If so, major props. That's some low ass body fat! I'm trying to get there, but I've got about 2-3 more months...I'm lingering at around 12-13%

I enjoy one crap meal a week...it's great to spike ur t3 and leptin levels (fat burning hormone) along with a nice mental break for yourself, friends, etc...I usually go to Texas Roadhouse and get a cheesburger, loaded sweet potato (marshmallow, cinn butter on it) and then 1 pint of Ben and Jerrys ice-cream with a pop tart:D

Man, I love a good cheat meal. My favorite has to be hot wings, Flamin' Hot Cheetos, and french fries.

How much do y'all drink? I try to limit it to just Saturday's and I stick to whiskey and Sprite Zero or vodka and cranberry juice. Being in college, it's extremely tough to just drink one night a week, but I make it happen 90% of the time...now when football season starts, that's a different story lol

I drink maybe once every 6 months or so if there isnt any big occasions ....my dad was in town and I had one drink....but there are other occasions too....for example, we had a conference in Vegas in July and a wedding after that....I drank at both occasions.

btw...wheres the dessert on that free meal?

Depends. When hanging with my brother, I'll drink like a sailor. Other times not as much. I usually do what's called a NorCal margarita. I'm a fan of tequila. Sometimes I'll get a glass of scotch for shits and giggles.

Keep it up man! That was 2 days out from my show! Definitely hard work to get to that point but consistency and determination are key!

Dessert would probably be a few beers lol. Not a big fan of sweets.

I like tequila, as well. I tried to 'drink healthy' by just taking a shot an hour at parties, to cut out mixers and whatnot, but that always ended up in disaster lol.

Heard that! I'm still a few months out from my ideal body fat % and I know it's gonna be a pain in the ass to get there ,but it'll be worth it.
