Just got my 56 B Elite meals from BB.com....

I'll have to say I was skeptical and kept asking myself why I bought 56 of them...well I know why I got 56 now....I can't stop eating them. They are hella good. Juicy chicken, fresh broccoli, juicy sirloin burgers, hell even the tilapia was tasteful!

I have yet to try the salmon and the chicken/egg white omelet and oats but I'm not thinking I'll be disappointed.

I live at 6% BF  Not intentionally though

My wife just did her first fitness comp a few weeks ago in oklahoma city. She took 3rd place. But the last 4 weeks prior to her show were pretty rough, for both of us! haha Mood swings, lack of carbs... But she looked awesome and it was a pretty cool experience. She is going to try and do another show in the spring.

Ill ask her if she cares if I share one of her show pictures.

That's the thing, I'm NOT shooting for big numbers. When I was, 5x5 was exactly what I was doing, and it worked awesome. I probably gained 40 lbs in about 6 weeks. Like KC said, I'm doing more of a high rep training right now.

And you're actually the same as me. The guy I was quoting was the one that's the opposite of us...bench is OK for me, but like you said, dumbbell just makes me feel like a pussy.

well looks like its time for me to hit the gym hard again. went to the gym yesterday and it was probably the 4th or 5th time in tha past 3 months? yah im 20lbs heavier and its not muscle lol i think my wrestling background is an advantage for weight cutting but anyone know any good techniques for quick muscle building in the arms and shoulder region? the "one rep" method has worked good for chest but then my arms look even smaller lol. any help appreciated thanks!

Dude Im debating on doing the same thing... Get the ease of cooking when I really just want to be lazy... are you adding any spices or sriracha?

hahaha you cheat though! Mr I LOVE RUNNING ALL THE TIME ;) yeah man good for her though competition training is brutal. I can't wait to start to see where all my hard work has gone

Heavy dumbbell press really hurts my wrists IDK why probably the balancing of it all.. give me flat bench any day ;)

well i mean there's no quick way to build muscle... its a slow process. Think of like crafting something out of wood or stone, that's your body. You have to fuel it right and treat it right. IE eat well, limit alcohol, and train hard and frequent. I like doing priority principle training and if a muscle body is lagging I train that twice a week. My current split:
    M - Chest/tris/LISS
    T - Back/bis
    W - Calves
    Th - Shoulders/abs
    F - Legs
    S - Arms/abs
Sun - Calves (or if im tired Ill rest)

Nov starts my cardio - mainly HIIT and some LISS
Starting in DEC and up until my comp Ill be doing a split of each body part twice a week

for me its pretty quick lol to a certain extent. i know it takes a while tobuid certain muscles but i was looking for good techniques/methods to build it faster than normal. i know my shoulder im going to go light for awhile because i have bad shoulders and as for everything else i just go heavy AF (to me) and that seems to work.
    my split
M - Chest (end with shrugs and abs)
    T - Bi's/Tri's
W - Legs (end with shrugs and abs)
    Th - shoulder/back/cardio
F - Power Lifts (Bench/Squat/Cleans/Dead lifts etc) and arms (end with shrugs and abs)
Sat or Sun (one or other) light weight full body

best way to get big is eat a lot, and lift heavy... also resting... if you do too much you wont see the gains you're hoping for... like I can see Friday being a problem... You're doing too much to your body and it could freak out. When you do chest on monday you're using your tri's then tuesday youre jumping right in tearing up your tri's again... then after a long week of hitting your body you're doinga full body exercise. Just seems like a lot to me.. If I was going to find a way to cut up I may do something like that but yeah..

Just trying to help this guy out as I read through here and didn't see anyone know a damn thing they were talking about. People telling him to eat tuna!? Are you kidding me? haha. And I'm new to this Forum stuff, so my bad bud.

If anyone on here needs any supplements check out my website, www.flashnutrition.com. I can set up a discount code or something for this group. Or if anyone needs real help with diet/exercise shoot me an email, zach@flashnutrition.com.

I just dont see why you're hocking your stuff to the first post on this thread. I assumed you were some guy trying anything he can to get his personal training business started... which it still seems this way. We're just a bunch of taco friends helping and supporting... not selling.... tell me whats wrong with tuna?

I added some pepper...but it all comes pre seasoned. Sriracha doesn't sound like a bad idea.

Before you come in and say such things, you should really consider what you yourself have done.

Which contests have you prepped for? Which ones have you won? Where can we see pics of such contest?

This is the thing with a number personal trainers, everyone's way but their's is wrong. You've read 11,400 responses and we are all wrong except you?

    GTFO.

This is why personal trainers get a bad rep. But you're right bro, we don't know anything about lifting. Enlighten us

Well the chicken/egg white omelet isn't bad...the oatmeal part of it is bland..but that's to be expected.
