So, I'm bored at work and decided to share things I see people doing at gyms that piss me off (I work at a gym, if you didn't get the inference lol). This is just a job I have to get me through college, but I absolutely love it. I get to work at a place I spend a lot of time anyway! After over a year of working in this paradise (at times), this is the stuff off the top of my head that drives me nuts:

    spitting dip in the trashcans

not re-racking weights, yoga mats, kettle balls, etc.

not flushing the toilets after you shit in them (i don't mind flushing down pee, but not shit lol)

some people hover above the toilets and shit for some reason and it is absofuckinglutely disgusting

flushing syringes and tampons down the toilet...this causes the plumbing to get blocked over time, which eventually leads to everything that is in front of the block, coming back up! Our entire bathroom floors were covered with piss/shit water once...it was a nightmare

idiot teenagers trying to sneak in

    not throwing cans/bottles/cups away

moving equipment around...it's where it is for a fking reason!

people who have lifted for a month telling other people how to lift

    excessive grunting

    the absolute worst: muddy shoes.

Any of y'all have any gym pet peeves?

    people who conversate on machines

people who hog the shit out of equipment

people who hog more than one thing at a time, for an extended period of time

people who have shit form but do as much weight as possible, and gloat about it

You're new to the forums as a company rep, but come in here with a judgmental approach asking people to purchase your line of products? Let alone never hearing of that...I'm not sure what your company looks for, but 1) you gave zero intro to what you are clearly trying to shove down others throats 2) haven't offered where (retail wise) ur products can be purchased, etc

I've been a lead rep and lead athlete for just 1.5 years and I can tell you giving my board experience, sales, customer service etc you have a lot to learn.

And what's wrong with tuna? It's a great protein source - especially for those on the run and need something quick that still allows them to hit their macros for that meal and fulfills some micronutrients at the same time.

people are lazy. that's how I feel about people not re-racking their weights. You can bench 405, but can't re rack that shit? GTFO

I forgot about people dropping weights...rips the mats and ruins the weights over time.

Oh, and texting between sets. ON THE MACHINE!

I don't know if any of you watch The Office, but the whole time I was reading this, I was thinking:
