I haven't been to a gym all summer. Since I didn't attend summer classes=no school gym. So I worked out at home, in the garage, or in the back yard. I used a 20 lb vest for push ups and over hand pull ups. and dumbbells for arms and shoulders.

School started this past Wed. so I finally went to a real gym on Thur. and MAN, what a difference. My motivation levels for working out was through the roof for working out in a real gym. I kinda went nuts, and did some back, shoulders, bi's and tri's. I didn't wear myself out, but it was a kick ass work out. and I'm sore.

I haven't had a pump like that for a while, and it felt good.

I also did an application for the San Antonio Fire Dept. The exam is in Oct. I gotta get ready physically and mentally. and to top it off I have 15 hours this semester.

I read somewhere to tighten your grip when you feel failure kicking in. Been doing it for a few months and my bench has gone up significantly.

..someone didnt get the memo. You do realize that opposable thumbs are the main physical function that helped humans advance past the other slithering habitants of the earth ? You should know if you can pull the weight the moment it comes off the mount, and if you cant you better have a spotter doing a real good job like doing "over & under hand grip" while slightly squatting.
