First day back deadlifting after back injury, went a lot better than i anticipated
    Barbell rows 5x10
    Lat pull down 5x10
    Seated cable row 4x10
    Deadlift 6x4

Went up to 275 felt pretty comfortable even with no belt. just gotta work my way up to 495 hopefully by the end of this year.

How much does the belt actually help? I have never tried one so I have no idea what it's purpose is....

You know it's been a good bicep workout when you go to take your ear buds out and you can't bend your arm to get to them.

Its helpful during heavy sets, but my belly is so big it cuts into my sides and limit range sometimes. But with the belt on im way more stable.

My belt bruises me all the time
I only use it when i DL over 500# and back squat over 400
I will say it makes the MOST difference when i front squat though.

I have found now that with my old program from when i was still throwing, im more reliant on my belt as my lower and mid back takes a beating from 4 x a week squats

i use belt when my form start breaking or i start to get shaky. if i feel comfortable and in no pain i don't usually use my belt. i like to have my belt on super tight too so that might make the bruising worse.

That seems like a non cheat day if you ask me

If you refer to that as trunks, wonder what you call a hammock:confused:

Yeah, I assumed as much.;) I have cut back on the fat intake but I loves the food too much over being sad about what I cant eat. The original goal was to be able to throw my DH around easier. 40lbs, selling the DH, and benching 275 2 years later has changed those goals. The new one is to try and not crest over 190, eat more salads, and get a dirtbike while finishing the other projects is the new goal.
