Well I just finished a half a sirloin, asparagus, and shrooms for lunch. Add that to the protein shake I had this morning and my chest should be ready to conquer flies and decline today like a champ.

Any of you with knowledge about the keto diet, I have a couple questions...

    1. I've read a lot about the first two weeks being really foggy for the brain and whatnot, but today is ridiculous. When I got to work today, I had to count the cash drawer three times lol! Any keto folks remember this going on?

    2. My diet is going really good. Meal prep is super easy, not having to deal with carbs, but for my fats on most meals, I just down 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil. Is that okay? I know a lot of people say to cook with olive oil, butter, etc., but all I have on hand right now is olive oil, so that's pretty much my only source of fat. I know olive oil is a healthy fat, so it should be a suitable source of fat, right?

Other than the mental fogginess, it's going great so far. My workouts are still intense and I can still lift the same amount of weight

Eat more fat. That will help with the fatigue.
Don't worry too much about good fat vs. bad fat. Most of what people call "bad fat" isn't that bad. Just stay away from the transfat, fried food type stuff.
Invest in bacon and eggs. Couple slices of bacon or a couple eggs is an easy way to up the fat on any meal. Also, stuff like almonds and macadamias help to snack on.
I wouldn't try to solely get fats from olive oil. Try canned coconut milk. Loaded with fat and calories.

Okay, thanks. Yeah, I felt kinda stupid today going through about 6 tbs of olive oil. I went to the store this morning and bought bacon, sausage, some ground beef, and other fatty meats. I usually go through about 6-7 eggs every morning anyway, so I'm good there. how long of periods do you do the keto for? Like 3-4 months, or just all the time?
