    I do a keto diet pretty much all the time, minus after a workout. There are plenty of people who stay keto year round due to heath issues though. For working out though, I don't feel I could recover properly due to the types of workouts I do. Some state you can become "keto-adaptive" and then your body will recover adequately without carbs, but I just don't think I could swing that, or have I seen enough to 100% believe you can maximize growth without carbs.

    Yea, give coconut milk a try too. I'd be lost without it. Especially when I eat something worthless like chicken breast. I have to then eat a bowl of "pudding", where I mix about 1/2 a can of chilled coconut milk with some coco powder to get my fats up. Taste yummy.

    Note to self: Don't eat a huge, dirty meal the night before leg day.
    I had to half-rep my PR-attempt on squats so I wouldn't drop a deuce in the squat rack.

    New DL PR, 335lbs. Might have been able to do more, but see above.

    Yeah, I'm starting to understand why stuff like chicken and turkey aren't popular on the keto diet....that shit has no fat! I cooked chicken breasts yesterday and was like, "shit, time to break out the olive oil."......although, I did cook them in olive oil, I don't think the amount I cook with is half as much as I need per meal. From the way I broke it down, I'm doing 6 meals at 35g fat/35/g protein/4g carbs, which comes out to about 201g carbs (65%)/200g protein (30%)/5% carbs (25g). I'll definitely look into coconut milk, though. I'm hoping this will get me past the 9-10% threshold I've never passed.
