Don't be a prude, now. Look at Phil...he's the biggest slut I know

Sounds pretty cool. From what I've read, that's really similar to TKD, where you eat carbs before and after your workout. I'm gonna keep rolling with CKD, but if it stalls out, I'll look into backloading. It seems, if you wanted to do a clean bulk, backloading would be more suitable than CKD, too. Yes? Last question: with backloading, your body wouldn't be in ketosis, but rather just a low-carb diet, right?

    Happy birthday to us

You guys think adding 40lbs to my clean by May is too bog of a goal?

I put up 165 today on my last set, with a little struggle on the front squat part of it. I can get the bar on my shoulders fine.

I am not sure what my front squat is, but I usually to it as my last major lift on legs day and end around 175lbs, so it makes sense that I struggled with 165 :p

Someone who does mostly body building type workouts who switches over to more of an olympic lifting routine probably wouldn't have an issue.
Form work helps a lot too. Minor adjustments will make a hard 165 seem like an easy 165.

No been lifting for a "while", had to take about a year off the gym for medical reasons (which was 2 years ago and more or less zapped 90% of everything). and this past year school+work kept me busy during gym hours so I've been on my bike a whole lot more to stay active.

but in highschool I peaked 270 on power clean and 275 on front squat. So I know the potential is "there".

I am not sure if that's to big of a jump to hope for. I do always like to aim big though :D
