I've never really ran into issues with energy or strength and being keto. Maybe try upping fat intake, or changing the source?
I don't do the weekend carb thing, just carb it up after workout, then keto any other time. Keeps the fat down, and my strength continues to increase.

Since everyone was talkin about arm size.....

No clue if the Rock's trainer really said this, or even if what I"m lookin at is the Rock's workout, but I think I'm gonna try what is supposedly his workout for a while.

I've seen a lot of folks on bodybuilding doing something like that, where they'll either eat carbs after a workout or before and after. How does that not kick you out of ketosis?

And I am upping fat and protein intake this go around. I lost a lot of weight, I think a lot of it was just muscle, so I'm gonna try and prevent that by upping the cals (fat & protein) this go around.

HOLY SHIT! The lowest it's gotten here was during the SNOWPOCALYPSE last week and it was like 17 for a day lol

It definitely kicks you out, but in theory you should slip back into it when sleeping. Then continue with the no carbs until after your next workout. You need those carbs to refuel. Some claim you can be cyclic low carb long enough to where your body doesn't need those carbs post workout to refuel.
Well yea, I tried it, had shit recovery. I could metcon my ass off, but good luck staying awake the next day. Maybe I didn't try long enough. Who knows.

Cool. I'm gonna give the cyclical keto one more whirl, but if my strength starts diminishing too much, I'm gonna look into your method. Hopefully, eating more cals and having bigger refeeds will keep me strong.

Holy shit! We got an inch of snow and pretty much all of GA shut down for 2 days. Luckily, I'm a Taco owner, so it just mean fun in the snow for me :D

Damn yuppies don't know how to handle a little snow.....

I'm struggling right now, I'm trying to get down to the 18-20% bf mark by the time I get home next month. I would hate to be down sub 15%. I don't like the idea of weighing less than 190lbs.

I weigh in at 190 but I am sitting around 20-22% body fat.

Wow, that's a lot of tilapia! I love fish, but I think I'd go crazy eating that much! It does suck when your g/f isn't dieting though. She diets, but doesn't keto with me. We went to red lobster a month ago and I went crazy staring at buttered biscuits and pasta...my crab legs soaked in butter weren't bad though :D
