Ah. Yeah that metabolic crap is hard to get motivated for. I just started the tabata twice a week and it's kicking my ass...also, I'm not chasing crackheads for a living either.

I never shave my chest...I'm trying to go for the Tom Selleck look. I'm also thinking about bringing the beard back :spy:

Also, you bastards never answered my Xtend question. How many scoops do y'all do a day? I've heard of people doing as many as 8 per day and others only doing 2-3 intra-workout. I'm wanting to not go through 19 tubs a month while also getting the benefits from it, so would 2 scoops intra-workout be okay?

Two scoops intra isn't a bad idea. I do one pre and 2 intra... not too many during the day.

    I take this back and...

    That's my new goal.

My girlfriend would roll her eyes and tell you I'm 5'9" but I am a firm 5'9Âľ"!

If I eat, eat, eat, it can't be unhealthy foods can it? I've ate and ate and ate and size comes but it feels like its more fat than muscle.

Thanks for the link, I'll be using that every day after work.

You should shave ab lines into your excessive body hair. Instant 8 pack abs.

    Cool, thanks!

That's a whole other debate. When I was 5'11'' and looked like a fire pole, I wanted size fast, so I ate what I wanted, when I wanted to for 2 years straight and got strong as heck and bigger! It is impossible to gain muscle without gaining fat. Also, you can do high protein, high carb, and low fat OR high protein, high fat, low carb. Doing high everything is what makes people fat. I like low fat for gaining weight and low carb for losing weight. If you want to gain muscle with very minimal fat gain, you're gonna want to eat only 500 calories above your maintenance (the amount of calories you can consume in a day and not gain or lose weight). Doing this will be a much slower gain, but will not come with much fat gain; it's called clean bulking. If you're wanting to gain muscle fast and get strong fast, you can do what is referred to as dirty bulking. You eat as much as and whatever you want. You're going to gain more fat with this though. When I first started out and look like a pole, I dirty bulked. After I gained about 60 lbs, I began clean bulking because I was close to where I wanted to be muscle-wise, but wanted to just slowly gain it without gaining much fat.

EDIT: I'm assuming you're a naturally really skinny person, like me (ectomorph). It's harder for us to put on weight because our metabolisms are so fast. The plus side to that is that we can get away with eating a lot more 'junk' than endo and mesomorphs. So, if you decide to dirty bulk, don't worry, you're not going to be obese. You'll probably just look something like me in the middle picture I posted earlier....that's probably 15% bodyfat.

I recommend that you get to the size you want by dirty bulking, then after you have a good muscular base, start cleaning up the diet, go on a cut to lose the fat, and then clean bulk....this is exactly what I'm doing now. I just got off a dirty bulk in Jan and am cutting now and will begin clean bulking in August
