Ate beef spare ribs at an awesome BBQ place. I was thinking Flintstones sized, but my son goes "those would be great door handles on Jeremy's car."

    So do I.

But... That said, the American actually had some funny quotes in this episode and I dislike him a lot. I actually laughed at everything that he said this time though. "Turbos are God's way of saying you need more cylinders" lol.

Jeremy's car was the funniest of the bunch by a long shot. I love how it basically ate itself lol.

We can't have the Stig, that's BBC's thing. The American is pretty much the polar opposite. Still funny, though.

Oh I know. I miss the Stig. But honestly the American didn't bother me this time.

I thought the first episode was pretty good....

Seemed to go slightly down hill from there and I thought the last one with the meat and mud car was stupid. that part of it at least.

I agree it was kind of stupid but funny in a way. Not nearly as bad as the 3rd episode IMO. I fucking hated that episode. At least I laughed during this one. It wasn't the best by far but until they get their feel for the new format I've got a feeling they will be subpar to what we've been used too. But at least I laughed on episode 4 so that's something I "personally" didn't do on the last episode.

I'm glad they are back. I really hope the get to go on adventures like they did with Top Gear.

I just hope they can recapture the spontaneity of the original Top Gear. The production value is there but the gags they keep doing over and over are getting old. I still think once they find their groove it will be back similar to the way it was.

One other thing I REALLY miss is the old Top Gear track. I'm not a fan of the new one at all. I really liked the old airfield. This one is just hard to get a gauge of how fast a car is opposed to the old one.

Same here I like the old one better. The new one seems like they tried really hard to make it unique. Oh yea the American is kind of stupid.

5th episode wasn't bad. I laughed my ass off at the scale portion. And I agree with Jeremy about the Alfa. Although obviously not the best car, there is something about that car I really like.

IDK, for a cheap backup to the Taco, I'd love a MX-5...

I agree. The MX 5 has always been a great little sports car.

I wonder how different the mx5 RF rides compared to the soft top?

The AR seems a bit underwhelming like all Fiats, all looks but poor engineering.

At $67K I would have opted for a Cayman or Z4.
