What @SR-71A said. In that kind of temperature, I usually just bring my 0-degree sleeping bag and wear a long sleeve t-shirt, hoody, long johns, thick socks and sweats to bed. Then I can strip down as needed if it's too warm (which it usually is). 0-degree bags are cozy AF

    A bunch of shit...
Anyone have an iKamper on top of a DiamondBack? I'm researching how to get this setup and keep the top of the iKamper about even with the roof rack on the cab.

My cold weather sleep setup is a 20* bag, extra blanket, sleep in under armor thermal base layer + fleece top and bottom + down jacket if necessary.

I use the 20* bag instead of my 0* because it's double-wide and I like the extra room and sleeping on my side. If I'm not backpacking I'm not gonna suffer shit sleep because I'm trapped in a mummy bag on my back.

If it's too cold for all of this I probably shouldn't be camping anyway lol.

edit: oh, and you can always fill a Nalgene bottle with boiling water before you go to bed and then keep it in your bag. Sooooooo nice.

I got one. Love it. The heat is unreal and the remote helps a ton. I leave it on lowest setting and just open a window to balance it out.
    Mr buddy’s freaked me out.

Keep a window open if you do. First time I used mine I got super light headed from fumes after 5 minutes. Honestly didn’t use it much since I layered up and used plenty of blankets the second night. Stayed warm all night in 15 degree weather, no sleeping bag

Does anyone have a Sparrow with solar on top?
Or a thread I haven't come across about it?

Trying to figure out the best extendable wiring solution

I'm a little late on this "Amen" but I had a similar experience - tent companies not able to show pictures and videos of their "latest" technology e.g. CVT and it's hyrbids (let alone so-called "freedom" series.) And then I discovered Treeline Outdoors. The guys here were incredibly helpful and I ended up driving out to pick up a new 4 season Tamarack from them in November. I've had it out on 4 winter trips already and it's been amazing. Excellent quality product, and excellent customer experience. Highly recommend.

Update on the Exped. I've got to buy another one now as my son slept on it Saturday after he complained about his back hurting. And yes I woke up Sunday without Exped and MY back was hurting. Dang boy!

Questions for those that use the cold camping winter liner for RTTs. Does it help with the condensation on the walls of RTT? We woke up Sunday and the walls were drenched....but we were warm. And does it really help "insulate"? Any regrets installing?

I’ve only had 2 nights in mine during 20-something degree weather but there was no condensation and it was warmer than without. That said, it was just me in the tent, and even without it I’ve only experienced a little bit of condensation on the windows. It’s easy to add and remove so there’s nothing to really regret.

Check out the YouTube channel Last Line of Defense. That's the setup he runs (SkyCamp Mini) and I think he has an install video of his bed rack system onto the DiamondBack. Looks really sleek and low profile.

I have a DA Warrior XL. Love it. Small family owned business. Handle customer service issues right away. I’ve got a thread going about them here. I’d be glad to answer any questions you have.

Also they are on Instagram a lot.

I'll take a look thanks. I get a bit nervous with the smaller sizes companies in this market but your thread helps.

    I understand.
I can tell you they have a big investor and they have over 100 tents coming in March and they’re going to be building they’re RTT’s in America starting late this year/ year next.
