that's good, at 24, they are just starting to pay attention to what they read. Just don't tell him that about it being bigger than it appears.

Maybe they meant the tent is larger than it appears on a spiritual level. It's got some big shakra's

Recently ordered an x-cover and max modular 10" tacomax aluminum rack. After some research it seems as though mounting is not going to be super straight forward. At the very least I'm going to need the v1 mounts from iKamper. If anyone has additional ideas I'd love to hear it. Spoke to another forum member who had drilled through the cross bars to mount to the tent rails.

Additionally, has anyone ordered from Artemis Overland Hardware before? Curious to hear about your experience. I placed the order for the tent a couple of weeks ago with a 6-8 week turn around. Been trying to reach Aaron there to see if they carry the V1 mounts so he can send with the tent and to also see if he has a more accurate lead time by chance since they've already charged me the $3,200 for the tent. I've been having issues reaching him. I've called multiple times and emailed a few days ago with no response. Their reviews online seemed to be solid so not sure why I can't get a hold of anyone there.

So x-cover is discontinued, my order got canceled today. Pretty bummed. X-cover 2 doesn’t go into production until “late spring”.

The x-cover really appealed to me for its size, ease of deployment, capacity (2 adults and 2 kids is a must for me)...

You guys have any suggestions on what else I should look at in the same realm?

Looks to be somewhat similar. I'm looking at their tank model which seems to be slightly bigger than the skycamp mini.

How's their reputation? Are they a fairly new company? All their tents seem to be on pre-order.

Found ourselves in the cinder fields of the Mojave. My happy place, after an emotional day in the area burned by the Dome fire.

Strongly considering this as well but imo the x-cover was a better bang for the buck. I also liked the cross bars up top for bikes/other gear. The dimensions were better for the taco as well since I'm planning to go over the bed with a 10" Max Modular rack and the skycamp is almost 10 inches longer. The hard-shell in windy conditions does still appeal to me though.

Tank is a queen sized bed. I have the warrior XL and it fits 5 of us fine. (2 adults 2 kids 1 teen)

I work with them. They’ve been around since late 2019. Currently their inventory is all sold, last ones sold in mid January. Next shipment is coming in March. While they don’t have any reviews on their website (I’ve been getting on the owner about this) they have a lot of pictures and reviews on Instagram. Also there is a thread here on TW.
