*THE RTT Owners Thread (With BS)*

I slept in my Teton 2 person bag this weekend in my Kukenam with my wife and it was in the low 40's out. We had the side windows half unzipped for ventilation and we were super toasty. I actually had my whole side unzipped and just covered up with the top of the bag and stayed perfectly warm. So did the wife, as usually the women get cold the fastest. She said I was putting off so much heat that she had to keep moving away from me.

Woke up in the morning so warm that I climbed out of the tent in shorts and a t-shirt to get the fire going and I was still warm. Not a drop of condensation in the tent either.

Yes... i agree it gets toasty fast, and I'm just the only one in so far, i keep the side zipper unzipped so i can get relief quick. I've had it since thursday and i haven't slept in my bed since... I love this thing..

 

In the summer I'll just sleep on top of it and it will be extra padding. It folds up so well in my tent that I'm just leaving it in there from now on.

 

Yeah i haven't put it in my tent yet to see how well it fits(i've got 2 sleeping bags and a pillow in it atm, so I'm hoping i can just leave mine in there, just pop up and go to bed.

 

Yeah I leave two big flannel bags and a blanket in mine. So I always have stuff just incase.

 

I freaking love how you can just leave stuff in it and just close it still, makes packing that stuff super easy

 

The Teton double bag will be fine. I had a little trouble getting the tent to close as far as I wanted when I also added 2 new large pillows. Some flatter pillows would be fine, but don't try to also throw 2 king-size pillows in there with the bag.

 

Ah yeah yeah, I'll prob throw two twin pillows in there(i've been sleeping in a twin all my life still)

 

I just keep thinking how cool this thing would have been in college. No having to drive home or take a taxi from the bars. Just pitch a tent in the parking lot. It would have been awesome. I just dont drink like I use to.

It's a great deal but where are the mounting bars.. They should be on the bottom but looks like they removed them.

 

He would be able to get replacement parts regardless of the brand

Aren't all RTT's generally built exactly the same for the most part?
