It'll be a bit of coin, I'd count on at least 5 cans of close to $50, especially with the solid sides, but definitely cheaper than a paint shop... and if it's not a perfect match, it'll at least look good from 100 feet away:thumbsup:

unless you're getting it straight from toyota, whoever's doing the paint is going to have to mix it, so i figure it's a dice roll wherever you go, rattle can or pro-shop... but I'm just guessing, so...:fingerscrossed:

34.8 according to my research, I am currently running stock gears with plans in the very near future to have it regeared and a locker up front, over all it handles the size well enough but regearing will be nice. I have an auto, in the woods I wish I had a manual but then when I am around town I like drinking my coffee and not worrying about shifting...

oh yeah, regear in the works for sure.. I have the manual, which has lower axle ratio, Auto has 3.90 manual has 4.30, and I need 33s to make up for it, feels like I'm shifting an 18 wheeler on stock size tires, it's a bit ridiculous.. You're a braver soul than me though, I plan on running a skinny 33 to avoid as much chopping as i can... they doooo look good on your truck though!

I had the truck for a good 3 years with out doing anything to it really, for example it is a 13 with under 25k on the clock so when I finally chose to make it mine I was going to do just that, I actually find myself looking back at the truck when I park it now lol.

You've got a blank canvas to work with...make it yours!

16 MT is awesome. It's as fun as my old 85 Runner MT. And I have enuf brains and maturity now to realize what I've got...60K kilometers now and couldn't be happier

Definitely have an exhaust leak at the headers when the engine is cold. Once it's up to temp they seal up and everything is great.
Took a 450km trip yesterday, 9 hours round trip, and nailed some pretty decent mpg.
My fuelly... I still need to fill up from yesterday, but since 2 months ago, this truck is starting to learn to sip the gas, as opposed to dump it on the ground everywhere I go.. Also super impressed that it maintains the mpg above 70mph.. yesterday was 60-75ish the whole way... definately need 33"s though.. 2750rpm to hold 75mph..

a note.. i learned on mph, and it's useful to be able to convert in the brain.. sorry for the imperial/metric bastardization.. :canada:

edited for autocorrect.. i have all the brain shut off on my phone, hate computers trying to think for me, but any post made on my phone i have to eventually hit the desktop and re-proofread and make english..

    Thank you sir!
Your truck looks good with those km2's.. I found a decent deal for 5 on hilux 16" rims, just waiting for an opportunity to go pick them them up (400 miles away).. can't wait for 33's

In other news, new gov't issue I.D. arrived, haha, pew pew pew!

I had zero rub with the factory wheels. When I switched to the offset wheels I had to do a CMC/ pinch weld beat down and trim the flares/plastic.

Thanks for the tip.. I'm not opposed to taking on the CMC and any other trimming, and I'll take any excuse to grab a BFH and go to work...:D

I'm not entirely sure what the offset/backspace is on these rims, haven't been able to confirm any information, aside from that they have the correct bolt pattern.. but i also bought a set of km2s on 2nd or 3rd gen 4runner rims last year and they didn't clear the calipers, so I'm not 100 convinced they'll work.. :fingerscrossed:I'll be happy if the hilux rims fit, cmc or not..1rQEkpnVnK5hETdZ8FsV4cyYZdB3Cn_bZ_MDjY3-_03592ca6e24421b0645fb4b0ba0396a168ce2636.jpg
