    Lol, clog away my friend!

I am on a brief stand-still with mine, you're making better use of the space than I am right now!

Looks very good, I did mine in an afternoon, outside, looks like you're doing yours in a much more controlled environment, I expect your end result is going to be much cleaner, post up the result when your done final coats and buff!! i wanna see the diy color match results

You'd never be able to find them, but there is some grass and hair in my final coats:annoyed:.. I know where to look, but as long as I don't tell anyone where they may as well not be there.. Ill fix it when I have a garage again and a little more time

    Welcome!

Progress has been slow in here, and work/life has been pretty intense, but hopefully getting paid up for work dating back to late 2017, and putting some of it toward some tires, with a little toward the clutch/exhaust upgrade/repair fund.
    Stay tuned for drrtyy trees!

Pretty well everyone up here is going bankrupt, so I'm taking my chance to gtf-outta dodge. Be moving back east to NW Ontario to be closer to the new property at the end of this month.. Going to be a grueling three+ weeks to come. Work 10-12 hours a day, pack and organize, clean and feed, go for a run, and make plans for landing in Ontario.. NBD

Photos never do any justice for paint jobs, but... pics?

Right, front, and back are perfect, top could use some work but might work after cut and polish, I am pretty sure was a lack of paint on the left side but it looked perfect prior to clear, will sand and shoot the left and top again.

There's a few similar spots to that on mine, pretty sure it was just light coats that didn't show up until dry, in the right light.. first two coats barely covered up the original paint, 3rd coat was finally the right color, but I think I was trying to stretch my cans too far.. Looks pretty good aside from that though, better to catch it now than later:thumbsup:

Tried to follow the last of the sled trails, but the path got lil' too narrow, once I broke thru the pack, it was tough sailing... Had to pave a path onto the adjacent road.

Half melted and very loose, not much for traction, and I have winter-road tires, nothing for grip..

4lo, for clutchs sake, and just rocked in to and fro till I had an angle to push onto the dry ground.. Had a treeline to winch to if necessary, and could have let air out as well, but neither were necessary..

The grass trail on the right, and the snowmobile trail off to the side that I was gunning down.. you win some, you lose some..

In a few weeks time this will be thawed enough be undriveable.. Give it a couple months, and a truck will disappear.. muskeg is fun stuff

Enjoying the last few runs down this trail before it thaws, and I leave for greener pastures..

2 things, 1 fantastic work on the truck. 2 is there really no such thing as a Vagabond windoor? That would explain why they never got back to me.

    1. thank you sir, it is slowly taking shape into something I can really be proud of.. I can't wait for the next steps.

2.Oh man.. Discontinued at least, in my opinion to make more people buy new.. they took my deposit for the windoor then dodged my phone calls for 4 months until I went down in person and demanded my money back.. The truck outfitters in red deer, alberta.. absolutely terrible customer service. I think the only way is to source the windoors from a junk yard..

wooo, last week in alberta, and everyone is stuck/hands tied for building permits/materials. I get a monday off!

Been trying to figure out a way to tell everyone I'm leavin.. I mean, they know I'm leaving, but they keep shoving more work with better pay at me, but eventually I'm going to have to shut my phone off and just go.

But today, I have a new rifle to go break in.
Not new, and definately broken in already..

Gotta get outta cell range before someone makes plans for me.

and without my heavy ass trailer on.. This makes me happy

IMG_20180402_191857.jpg And the LC rims pushed the rubber outfor a slightly wider stance.. which also makes me happy..
    IMG_20180402_183645.jpg

probably going to make them black, i like the black and blue theme... silver looks sharp, but a quick plasticoat will preserve the rims, and IMHO, look a bit better

You should try using bbq black spray paint from rust oleum. I have used it a bunch with great results. It dries very fast and has a super nice matte finish. No masking required for the tire. The first time I painted my rims black was with plastidip but then I realized I don’t want to take it off so why use it. Now everything that needs to be black gets the real deal.

    thankya sir..
I was thinking I might want to remove the black, either for eventual resale, or something (arbitrary decision) but I realized today that the silver was just painted on the outside surface of the rims, inside face is already black.. I already had a few knock-off cans of black dip, and did a rush job with cold cans, and the finished product is pretty meh, so I imagine I'll be peeling it off before long, we'll see how long it lasts...IMG_20180404_003525.jpg
Ill definately give the bbq black a shot though, I like quick-dry, and matte.. I usually use the generic flat black rustoleum, but always willing to try something new..

por15 for stuff on the frame that doesn't get seen, or sun.. been very happy with that product

-back in manitoba, and have access to my brothers shop, which is oh so amazing.. heated floors and room to walk around the vehicle is awesome, definitely going to be doing quite a bit of tinkering while i have the chance.. nothing worse that crawling under a truck in the rain/mud..-
