Nice rig! Always wanted a 1st gen 4runner (preferably with a solid front axle). I'm jealous.

So I finally got the new 1" MC installed as well as my new 2M radio so I can stay in touch with the rest of the TWA crew here in SoCal! :D 2M Radios > then CBs :)

1" MC Still have to wire up the little cap plug!

2m Radio installed and Programed! And since we are operating outside the 2M frequency I don't need to get my Ham license. :D

I also got my Rock Lights installed...we had our first Annual Pre-Thanksgiving TWA Night run in Calico last Wednesday night and man what a blast that was especially with the new 4.7 T-Case gears. :D Sorry I don't have pictures of the run but I was to busy having fun driving! :p

I also finally finished painting the whole truck black...but I am debating whether to paint it another color now! lol...I'm thinking Silver!!!

Well so far the light has not come on so I probably won't bother in wiring up the cap...and they are 35" tires but they are worn down pretty good. I need to replace them as soon as I have some extra funds. My Brother Denny (Dtrujillo63) also picked up a 84 4Runner that we are working on as well. We will be dropping in a front locker, 4.7 T-Case gears, and welding up the rear diff by the weekend! :)

we should try to do that here on the east coast and comprise everything with guys from the west coast. I think we could make some sick wheelin videos.

    the other runner looks familiar.
a few years ago there was a dude named Noah in my law enforcement class @ crafton who said he worked for allpro and IIRC he had a similar rig.

Marlon - Lookin GREAT - funny thing I know everyone on every board gives you soooo much shit about those tires - they may be shitty but your still wheelin'. I am so jealous and boy if I were to do it all over - that is the way I would do it! As I said when I bought my truck. Buy a 30k truck. Add 10-15k. End up with a 20k truck. Your math makes so much sense. Hope to see you on the trail sometime soon.

On the trail it does fine...on the street...it's another story! It's def not my favorite as I can feel the steering wheel jerk every time I hit a pot hole bump I have to be real cautious as the truck will jerk left or right I am hoping the high steer will fix that when I get it. The 35's are fine on the street but I do need new tires I think once I get start working again I am going to spring for the KM2s since this is my daily driver right now...if it wasn't my daily I would get some pitbull's or Iroks...

cool. From what I hear the High Steer set-up drives like a dream in comparison. Is that the stock drag-link w/ RUF for the front lift?

Edit; to add, you will be extreamly happy with the KM2's. I was blown out of the water riding in a FJZ-80 a couple months back. Aired down to 20 psi they preformed flawlessly flexing around rocks and sipping mud.
