Like your canopy it was originally white! I got a good deal on it and after a couple months (tax returns cough cough) I paid to have it color matched. The dog loves it lol.

The extra head room is nice. I’ve been looking for a used one for a while.

I found mine on OfferUp. I hardly ever use Craigslist anymore. FB marketplace and TW are good resources.

How much did that run you? Mine is white and I'm thinking about bedliner from an air gun, or basically homebrew LineX. I paid $800 for the cap and was quoted $500 from a shop.

    Did they remove the windows?

The extra headroom is key! Funny how that little extra makes such a huge difference.

No, they masked them off. I’m really happy with the job they did. I found the canopy for 1k IIRC then paid 525 to have it sprayed. I looked at vinyl wrap and thought about spraying it myself. At the end of the day I decided to pay the extra money to get it done right. It was a family run local auto body shop so I was happy to support them. Not sure what the market in your area is like but 3rd gen Sb canopies are hard to come by here used (Oregon). Especially in the color you need. I ended up driving 3ish hours north to meet the seller.

I've been out of the loop but I didn't realize they now made a 255 KM3 for 16" wheels. Could see myself running that on a future truck. Will they ever make a KO2 in 255?

Any pics of 255/85/16 on Tacoma OffRoad Wheels? Are wheel spacers needed with stock wheels and 255/85/16 to keep away from stock uppers?

the tires are narrower than the stock tires, so my guess is no.

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/put-255-85-16s-on-stock-or-wheels-and-suspension.491079/page-131

Here’s 131 pages specifically about putting 255/85/16 on 3rd gen TRDOR wheels. No spacers, no rub on stock suspension. All tacomas except the PRO ride at the same height so it should work even if you aren’t on trdor suspension.

Yea, that's about what I was quoted too. I would be into it if my windows were windoors. Or if it were newer. It is 5 years old and I'm replacing the 3rd brake light, and the moulding on the back window. The tint on the back window has a couple scratches and I need to replace one of the screens. I had a black Softopper on it and it looked pretty good so I think a black textured cap would look just as good.

We're going to find out soon
