    Where did you get your information? Top Gear episode? That's not a real test. These are the well accepted 1/4 mile stock figures for the those cars. Also, remember in the same episode, the GT-R destroyed them in every other test.

    1/4 mile stock figures:
    Continental GT v8 = 12.4 sec
    M6 = 11.7 sec
    GTR = 10.8 sec

    Motortrend uses crappy California 91 octane. GT-R is tuned for 93 octane. California 91 sucks bad. Here is a stock GT-R doing 10.8 (not nismo).

    It says so on the gas tank cover.

    Go drive or ride in something that actually is fun or has power, then you'll realize it's a huge waste of money for the performance/fun/money ratio

    Traded the 2015 TRD Pro 6spd Supercharged on a PowerWagon and could not be happier. My 2011 Tacoma with the TX Baja package (Added by me) is still treating me great. My 1985 Toyota never skips a beat.
    I saw a regular cab short bed tundra 4x4 lifted with TRD s/c...

    That looks like fun!

    Meh, the top speed is barely over 100. Not really that entertaining. My dads diesel has gobs of power and it is entertaining to step on it a little on freeway on ramps when people on smaller cars think they can pass you up. A "fast" Tundra is like a fast garbage truck, useless.

    At this point, I'd stop responding but I want to make sure the public doesn't get the wrong information. We use AKI in the United States on pump gas. Rock Lobster is unable to admit that he is wrong. You made me get out of bed to go take a picture of my gas cap, at least admit defeat. LOL

    I just be happy if TRD would develop a SC for the 4cyl Tacomas.

    I dreamed of that day the whole time I had my 2008.

    I had a roots charged Corolla that was a blast, and a roots charged 3.4 Taco that was good.. Fell in love with the sound and the instant power..

    It will never happen again. The 2.7 would make the HP of the v6, and that would compete with themselves.

    If I could get a mint 4x4 2005-2009 2.7 I would get the URD setup and love it. But its easier to buy a warrantied v6 new.. And now I need a DC..

    ? This is a pretty ignorant comment lol. A fast Diesel is more of a Garbage truck than a Tundra considering that chip is going to cause your daddy all sorts of issues if he keeps pushing that system past the limits it was designed for.

    ^^ I can argue that all day. Its useless as a racecar, its ADDICTIVE as fun.

    And I towed my derby car with a Dodge that had GOBS of power. Yes it was fun, and cool but 505hp and 550 ft lbs of gas powered, factory warrantied baby Tundra would be WAY MORE FUN! Than 490 hp and 1180 lb ft diesel that is pushing boundaries for reliability and incredibly expensive if you enjoy it.

    I think that single cab tundra with a long travel setup would be a riot!

    Damn.. Another thread down the tubes.

    What about a S/C Colorado 4cyl? should we add that?

    I should say comments like that. I'm not throwing you under the bus, but it's unnecessary to toss comments like that around considering the mods are probably watching this thread like a hawk. I know I've tamed down my comments on here versus everywhere else for that exact reason.

    As for the Fuel pumps, I'll admit someone else started that but I made sure to finish it. I'm not good with people taking personal shots at others and then acting like they are perfectly innocent. I referee a lot of hockey. I dislike, to put it mildly, that one kid that talks everything up on ice then turtles and looks to the referee when he's challenged.

    Anyways, shall we get back to S/C awesomeness discussions :thumbsup:

    You're trying to make this an issue about mods we chose to do? That's up to my dad and I so why do you care? My point is that a big truck that is purposed specifically for speed is useless. The only time I ever use the "speed" of the diesel is sometimes on the freeway on ramp which is quite rare (40-80 mph?) and just for fun. Hey, its not my fault that a modern diesel gets very powerful/quick with little modification. My intent wasn't to make a speed demon, no. In fact it was perfectly fine before I did anything.

    That's probably the same case for a SC Tundra. It can sprint up to 100 mph, whoopty do, who cares?

    And my dads truck is more powerful, shifts quicker, tows better than it ever has before, the tune just makes it a little better. It's a 3/4 ton truck that gets max torque at low rpm, that's quite useful for the heavy towing we do.

    See post------>http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/cto/4883605058.html

    Guy wants to trade his SC Tundra for a Duramax. I wonder why?

    The seller clearly has the same opinion as me, that SC Tundra speed is useless.

    $46k for that truck seems a bit outrageous.
