I dont hate it, but that nose looks so long..

I do really like rear windows and how they look like they taper over the roof

hopefully they retain the rear leg room as the current gen or might just try to get a 5th gen

I think the new 4runner redesign would greatly benefit from the humped outback roof like you saw on the Xterra.

Holy shnikes. If they do this for the 4th gen taco I may be trading up at some point. That's a helluva factory package

 

When I had my fifth generation 4runner, I just folded the seats down when I bought it and never folded them back up until I gave it to my dad 9 years later.

Pretty much the same Trail Hunter package as the Tacoma. I'm sure they will do the same thing to the Tundra in 2025 as well.

 

I bet you won't be able to sleep in the back of the new one without some extensive platform building.

 

The new LC overall length is 193.8, the 2024 4 runner is 190.3 and in the article the 2025 is 4.7 inches longer. I was hoping for a usable 3rd row but looks like it may be all in the hood area.

 

Its barely even an upcharge too!

 

I'd guess with the front seats all the forward and if the rears fold flat it should be okay. Depends on the persons height too.

It’s sad to see 4Runner get fatter and fatter after the 4th gen.

 

Is it more room though? It should be, its a bigger truck...but I guess we shall see when we get the endless you tube videos...lol. I wonder if they screwed up the ease of sleeping in the back of it...my guess would be yes but I guess we will see on that too.

I agree reminds me of the rav4, but overall I feel Toyota is doing too much with their vehicles. It looks like they are trying too hard.

That was actually my first impression too, felt like it had a Durango vibe.

 

I can't unsee the spoiler thing at the back of the roof. It just screams Chevy
