Lift, wheels, tires, sliders, and skidplates...so far.
This is probably a dumb question but when doing a torque check on suspension components, is it necessary to raise the truck off the ground or can they be torqued with weight on the springs?

Example: leaf spring / shackle attach bolts. Should be torqued with the vehicle sitting fully on the ground.

General rule of thumb, if it’s load bearing, torque on the ground esp if it has rubber bushings (ex - UCA, LCA, lower shock mount).

If you don't draw blood, you're doing it wrong!
    Z is ft./lbs.

There is a legend key at the bottom of each diagram to show what the numbers are:

Some items are missing from the 1st page. Let me know if I missed something and can we get a mod to add the images to the first post?

Good catch - you're the first person in 9.5 years to catch that!

Those image links were broken from when the diagrams used to be hosted on DropBox. I updated and re-linked them to my TW Media Gallery, so the images/diagram should be working now.

Had a mod day yesterday. I helped a friend replace his steering rack and saw the torque specs were missing so I had to add them.

It's been a topic of debate for years. 37 does seem way too low.

I think the consensus is they must've transposed the numbers (should be 73 ft/lbs??) but I just tighten them down to about 80 ft/lbs, or 4-5 ugga-duggas and call it good.

I can't find them in the FSM guide.

I did find the install PDF for the OEM Skid Plate (PT212-35075) which uses that same sub-assy piece(s) and stock bolts for installation.

The install PDF (attached herein) lists the torque specs for those bolts at 21ft/lbs.

is there a spec manual that an autobody tech might use?
perhaps it is listed in something such as that?
