Why don't you ask yourself which companies are snapping up vaping companies? The same pushers of traditional tobacco products and nicotine addiction. RJ Reynolds, Altria (formerly Phillip Morris), Imperial tobacco. They all have a single interest in mind, promoting and profiting from nicotine addiction. And now they've found a market of suckers who make it a lifestyle, and far worse, evil, and insidious, have fucking fruit loops flavors to entice children, just as there were candy cigarettes back in the sixties and seventies.

Look into Jake's Mint Chew. I used it to quit dipping. I dipped for 10 years and quit cold turkey using Jake's .It's a non-tobacco product made from mint leaves. After about 6 months of using that I just found myself stopping using it anymore. Been a few years since I used anything, and no tobacco for close to 4 years now.

 

I will do that. Im sick of it even though it offers so much pleasure. But i guess thats how addiction works

 

Theres a push from the vaping community against bright and colorful labels that might attract children. Although its hard to think of 8 year olds being able to purchase e cigs. The whole colorful labels thing isnt whats making 16-17 year olds start vaping, that age group was sneaking cigarettes and chewing tobacco since way before. Theres another push to start using nicotine from eggplants rather than tobacco to disassociate vaping from tobacco overall.

When I tired to quit smoking about 4 years ago I picked up vapes and it got me WAY more addicted to nicotine. You can get vape juice that is like 10 times more nicotine than a regular cigarette. And not only that, now I could freaking vape at my desk at WORK!!! Holy shit, I was probably vaping 50 times the daily nicotine than I did when I was smoking. In the car, where I refused to smoke before, now I could vape and it wouldn't stink. I did not smoke in the house as a rule, now I could vape no problem and it wouldn't stink. Years before that I tried nicotine gum and that didn't help and was super expensive. The only way to quit was to stop, entirely! Just stop! No dipping, no vaping, no gum, no Chantix... just gotta really, REALLY want to stop. And it's still hard for me, I still want to smoke, but now it's not the 1st thing on my mind at all.

 

That's the kind of increased profit margins Big Tobacco is happy to tap into.

Congrats on getting the upper hand in your battle. It just goes to show what a trap it is. Thank god it wasn't opioids.

Well you have to have a plan, and someone to guide you. If you go up or stay in high level of nicotine you'll never quit. Then again, if you never quit vaping or it takes you a long time you're atleast not doing any damage to your body like you would if you were still smoking. Most people start at a 6mg level and then go down to a 3mg. After a few months they just keep vaping at a 3mg or just stop. Ill admit, the hardest part of quitting vaping (Ive done it) is the habit of reaching for something when you're driving. When I quit for a while I started chewing gum more and didnt experience withdrawal since I had gone down to a 3mg.
