The Walking Dead Show vs. Comics (Heavy Spoilers likely)

After a sickening game of "eeny, meeny, miny moe," Negan makes his choice and bashes the character's head in with Lucille... Unfortunately, it sounds like we have no idea who that choice is. The camera shifts to the character's point of view so we never actually see who is killed.

The next episode (East) ends with a cliffhanger, no showing of Negan, and some other stuffs.

 

I know Negan is not until last episode

 

The spoiler I saw does not list all of these people in the RV, there are a few groups of 2-3s going in different directions and doing different things. Leaving them in small numbers and vulnerable.

 

I read what you posted via Google, it said "confirmed and unconfirmed rumors"...so maybe that's what happens...maybe not...

But yes, I do think we won't see Negan until the end of the finale. I did see the finale is 90min though.

 

Episode 16

 

ah, right. I'm looking at one for 15. Apologies.

 

Just read back through some of the 'Something to Fear' story line of the book since that is vaguely where the show is at. I think the finale will spend most of the time getting the group back together, including an alive Daryl. From the short preview they showed last night it looks like at some point Dwight confronts Rick and co. to bargain for his captives either at Alexandria or outside somewhere (perhaps they went looking for them). I would imagine that scene plays out similar to the book where they (Andrea in the book) take everyone out except Dwight and let him return to Negan proclaiming they are the new protection crew around. With Maggie clearly having an issue with the baby, once everyone reunites I would think they make a break for the Hilltop to go see that baby doctor again. Then it probably plays out just like the book where Negan and his whole crew stop them on the way and set them up for eenie-meenie-miny-moe. I think this happens in the final 5min of the episode though, just a huge teaser of what is to come.

I think Glen still dies, but I don't think we will know for sure until next season. I think Daryl survives(hence the preview of Rick and Michonne running through the woods holding a stretcher with a body on it), Morgan returns (with or without Carol - but I think she is still alive too) to Alexandria (they showed a black man on a horse approaching a community in the preview). I'm sure a few red shirts will die too, aside from Denise it has been a while since anyone has died.

Daryl said in an interview that the finale is 'the most hardcore episode every' and both Rick and Carol said it made them sick to their stomach. It better be good!

 

Anyone think that guy in the barn that ran off before Rick/Morgan parted ways will resurface? He was wearing armor. Maybe he was from the Kingdom?

 

That's exactly what I thought cuz he lost his horse, he had a spear & was wearing some kind of armor.

 

I thought I remembered talks of a horse. They show Morgan riding back on a horse next week. I think in attempt to find Carol he will find the Kingdom. I think since Negan has been the topic all season they writers have tried to sneak this in for the finale since everyone already expects Negan to come in and bash a head...

 

Can't remember how Rick found the Kingdom, wasn't it Jesus that took him there to meet King Ezekiel?

 

On screen Negan was great! Could tell he had been toned down for television but I still really liked him. His "pee pee in your pants" lines were funny.

Haven't listened myself, but read some articles about slowed down audio that said you can hear someone saying "Maggie" or at least some of the name. That's what Glenn sputtered out in the book. 99% sure he gone, but still a small possibility it was Abe. They better pick up right here when they come back and not dick around with Carol and Morgan at the Kingdom, though I am really stoked about the Kingdom being in the show too.

 

Kirkman said on talking dead there were hints to who it was but they also said they jumped around during the eenie meenie miney mo part to throw everyone off cause they knew people would keep track of where everyone was in the lineup. I agree with you, I think it was Glenn or Abraham. It seems like the camera angle was to the left of Negan & that's the end Glenn was on.

 

You can also see two of Negan's crew behind him during the bashing, might be able to use that and the pan above to narrow it down as well

 

I'm sure someone will break the scene down as much as possible at some point in the next 7 months and let us know who it was.
