    I googled...looks like it is fairly close to the current storyline so I'd doubt it would be anytime soon.

    Also just noticed comicmad.com is no longer free and I am also about 4 issues behind on my reading :frusty:

    Yeah - that is the current story line. "The Whisper War." Probably have to wait until that one wraps up before they make another volume...

    At least you are caught up through most of the Negan storyline in time for the premiere on Sunday :notsure:

    Yeah same for me too, I also don't like that Michonne took Andrea's place as Rick's love interest (since Andrea is dead in the show and not the comic). It's going to make the Eziekial storyline more interesting since Michonne gets with him in the book. Maybe Carol will be his love interest in the show?

    from the only preview for this season I have watched (which I think was the comic con one from over the summer) it showed the cage which I figured was obviously for Negan. My opinion has been that this show has dragged out storylines vs how long the comic spends on it. The governor lasted almost 2 seasons but I feel like he was only in like 5-6 comics. Seems strange to me that Negan (a much bigger part of the comic and all around more awesome villain) wouldn't last longer than 1 season (up until the whisperers).

    I also wasn't thinking the whisperers would make the tv show. For one, I think the show may be on its way out (and maybe the whisperers can be explored on Fear instead) but also the first few issues with the whisperers just weren't very good and would make poor television. Now the last few that I've read have actually been really good and would probably be pretty good tv but I don't know how much longer the original group has going for it...

    The way FTWD is going I think TWD will outlast it. I like FTWD but it is much slower and has been losing audience.

    That is why I was thinking they may start to take storylines from the books for Fear. They had already hinted a bit with all of them walking around with blood covered on them (I know they have done it a few times in TWD, but never focused on it so much) and Nick wanting to 'live amongst the dead.' If he came across a group like the Whisperers who found a way to do it so well. That would be really interesting to me...Maybe I just need Nick to go to TWD. He's the only good character from Fear anyway...

    I don't think the whisperer will show up yet, keep on mind before the whisperers they did a 2yr jump in the book after the war with Negan.
    Morgan was working on what appeared to be a jail cell in the basement of that house last season. Could be the one for Negan in the future.

    I'm honestly not surprised by either death tonight. The way it played out was nuts but not really shocking. I think there comes a point where you have to "true up" the story to the book. It would've been hard for the show to exist and try to mirror storylines with the wrong characters. Abe should've already died and Glenn needed to meet Lucille. It's already a struggle having Michonne fill in for Rick's love interest with Andrea dead. I'm eager to see what happens when they meet Eziekel
