Do you happen to have any more pictures of your fix for these little side flap seals? I've been experimenting to no avail and remembered you had done this.
Maybe one of the tailgate open, just so i can see the actual shape of the rubber piece?

I'm afraid I don't. Here's what I have. I basically traced the originals as best I could, then made them a lot taller so I could use 3M auto trim tape for a large contact area.

Originals. Basically a rectangle, with the outer edge curved to the cap contour:

Notice the amount of flat space above the original:

Here you can see how I made them taller, and put them under the main door seal:

This is the best head-on shot I have. Top portion is taller, and the bottom portion is lower, too, but I had to keep test fitting and closing the tailgate to make sure it didn't deform too much. Go larger, and keep trimming the bottom edge as needed. Hope this helps:

The hell? There’s an actual helpful build related post in here now. Mods, time to move this out of the 3rd gen builds...

That'll work for me! Thanks for sharing! My originals went incognito (trashed) after getting the shell painted lol, I'll stop and get some thinner rubber sheets this afternoon and finish her up

That must mean he likes me, huh? ;)

You are right where you should be, setting an example for 3rd gen to aspire to, or is it the other way around :notsure:
