    Howdy!

I think we were in Yellerstone around the same time. I’m also on a trip, albeit not as extended as yours. Currently finishing up in utah.

I live just south of oregon in cali on the coast. I know some good spots, pm me if you’re short on ideas!

We've seen smoke off and on since South Dakota. Montana was the worst for us, smoke wise. We've been consulting fire maps to do route planning, closest We've gotten to actual fires was within 10 miles. Visited friends in Ashland, now we're in Cali on our way to visit our daughter in Redwood City.

Howdy! We'll go back to Yellowstone since our visit there amounted to one day. Lol. We're currently outside of Crescent City, Cali. Heading to Redwood City for a few days then maybe back up here to begin a run down along the coast.

    Couldn't agree more.

I told another member that I'm out in Fallon, NV right off 50/95 if you need a pitstop. Just shoot me a PM, the door is open.

Thanks for the offer! Very kind of you, we're back in Redwood City until after Thanksgiving. Planning our next move, probably southern Cali and southern Arizona. Chasing warm weather since the teardrop has no heat, ya know

No problem! The route is driven by wisdom. If you get down by San Diego do yourself the favor of stopping at the Cardiff Seaside Market (on PCH 101) and getting a Burgundy Tri-Tip, AKA Cardiff Crack. You won't be disappointed. Safe travels.

Next episode is online. I know it was soon after the last one but we had weeks without interwebs. Including 2 weeks in Death Valley, actually a pretty cool place for being the hottest place on earth

We spent Thanksgiving with our daughter, then went to Joshua Tree National Park far a couple of weeks. We hiked a lot, drove 4wd roads, ate great food, and got attacked by rats. Fun times!

We did a thing or two.
Got fed up with temporary repairs of the gas tank leak, so we dropped the tank in my daughter's driveway and had a welder repair the leaks.
Also took the intake out to get to the knock sensor harness so we could replace that after the rat chewed it apart in Joshua Tree

We made this video to commemorate the occasion

And we posted our latest blog report. Our last days in Anza Borrego and the surrounding area. We visit more sculptures, a dry lake, watch military helicopters practice maneuvers and see amazing rainbows.
