Smashed window in Charlotte to steal sunglasses from Walmart. Insurance to fix that was $3k because the glass tore up the steering wheel.
Tonight someone leaves me this present in the parking garage in Atlanta...

The only thing I can imagine is the airbag portion was also messed up and was replaced for that price. I think the “leather” cover and bag come as an assembly.

The windshield is $700 just for the glass when mine was replaced, plus labor

I’m assuming there was also paint or dent repair or something to get up to $3k

People are assholes and more often than not, just extremely careless.

Any damage on my truck is due to other people (besides natural wear).

People often wonder while my truck is ‘clean’ on the inside. I always go by the line; out of site out of mind.

My glass was tinted and it held the sharp little squares together enough to scratch the dash, steering wheel, and door panel/window switches all to crap. The steering wheel only comes as an assembly.
They used a crowbar or something and actually dented the inside lip of the door under the rubber, but I didn't make them fix it because it is not really visible.
My $500 deductible just barely covered the side window with no tint from Safelite.
