    Your punctuation is lacking. Looks like you missed your period.

    all fine and dandy till you cant get the same truck for what the insurance is giving you.... or when you walk out to your truck to get to work and its not there yet still need to work. Never understood the "oh insurance will just cover it".... yeah but they arent going to cover the frustration, time, energy, loss of work etc etc. Be proactive rather than re-active.

    none yet
    I would assume that any fob that sends/receives a transmitted signal can be fooled by this device, as it just amplifies the existing signal, it doesn't mimic it, right?

    It's happening in Canada. We apologize for making it so difficult to steal our vehicle, and they apologize for stealing it. Guns aren't required.

    I have a series of switches under my dash that Charlize Theron switches for me in a certain sequuence before the truck will start.

    I had a hidden EFI kill switch on my old 86 SR5 - it worked great when you wanted the truck to stay wherever you left it. I'm sure with enough time a would be thief could figure it out - would probably sit there turning it over until the battery died first before they get out and started troubleshooting with a meter..

    Haven't found a clean way to do it on the 3rd Gen, other than this relay trick I think it's pretty safe.

    I don’t know if your being serious or not but that’s the smart key fob and the way to stop transmitting the signal to save battery life but it also stops searching for the signal and can’t be amplified- which I’m guessing the article is about based on comments

    I have to divert power from life support systems to the main thrusters in order to get my truck to go.

    Now that's funny. :rofl::rofl:

    It's annoying to teenage joy riders and crackheads, but it's not a problem for a real thief.

    Apologies if you had your tongue in cheek during your post. ;)

    My next door neighbor has the same trim, color, and year as mine. She keeps hers parked in her drive, whereas mine stays in my garage.

    My Toyota doesnt need to be bulletproof, it just needs to be slightly more secure than the next nearest Toyota. :cookiemonster:

    I live in a gated retirement community by choice. Two crimes since 1969. The only gangs are the Men's Golf Association and the AARP. If there is anyone in my driveway at night, they are probably there because of dementia...
