    Doesn't have to worry about the tires fitting & trimming if its lifted like that. Smart

    Back in late 80's a friend of mine had a chevy 454 lifted like that. A town cop in ma. stopped him as he was driving through the town. Cop pull out a yardstick, and proceeded to read him the riot act. This cop was so irritated he almost had the truck towed to be impounded. All in all my buddy got a hefty ticket, and told never to come back with that truck unless it meets regulation height.

    "Free state"?

    Until that guy has an accident with your family and the bumper hits someone in the temple instead of the door. Actually - looking at it, it would probably hit the nice, soft roofline and scalp you pretty efficiently. That's just stupid.

    Some laws are completely useless, but there are a few that actually keep the rest of us safe from the Darwin-factory recalls.

    A meteor could also hit your car while driving. Or a tree could fall on it. Or an airplane. Or a regular car could hit the median and be launched up onto you. Or a bridge could fall on you. Or a tire could come off a semi and go through your windshield. Or a bird could hit your windshield and make you jerk the wheel into oncoming traffic. Or any number of any other things could happen also....

    Very true - ALL of them completely out of human control. What act of nature caused this idiot to jack his truck up 3 feet off the ground? None. His own stupidity and cry for attention. There's a big difference between an accident - say dropping something, and an overt action, like say - throwing it across the room. You gotta have a bit of intellect to know the difference. :thumbsup:

    All of the things i listed have similar odds to the guy with the jacked up truck doing anything to anyone else.

    Similar odds? :rofl: They must really love you in Vegas!! :rofl:

    There’s always that one guy, but I guess in this case- the Darwins are twins. Here are the odds for you my man…in case you ever wanna “bet” with your family’s life - most of us don’t. These are all averages:

    • 11K vehicle a year get hit by tires;
    • Between 87 and 222 bridges collapse each year (yeah those numbers seem sketch but they came from Utah State University - some kinda public bridge study) - I’ll give you the 222;
    • An average of 100 people a year are killed by trees (probably not gonna die in your car, but I’m literally stacking the odds in your favor here);
    • An average of 125 planes crash AROUND THE ENTIRE WORLD every year - I’ll give you all of the;
    • About 6100 meteors impact the entire planet every year - all yours;

    You get ALL 17,547 incidents. Of course, that’s giving you the benefit that they ALL happened in the U.S., and they ALL happen to hit your car.

    On average, there are 6 MILLION car accidents per year, that's in the U.S. alone. Of those, approximately 36K are fatal. Yeah - you keep thinking there’s as much of a chance of getting hit by a meteor or a plane falling on your car than there is of running into this douche-a-roo at an intersection. Literally double the chance of getting killed, not just hit or injured, than ALL of your similar odds put together. That’s hilarious. Well maybe it's just sad that you believe it.

    Tell ya what - just to show there are no hard feelings…when you’re done running around in a kilt, with blue paint on your face, yelling “FREEDOM!”, I’ll get you a great rate on meteor collision insurance - I know a guy.

    Cool. Now show me the number of people who get driven over by a lifted truck. I will wait...
