I'm new to toyotas and have a leaky hose by the thermostat. The hose with the arrow pointing to it is leaking on my truck. I've looked at the part diagrams and can't seem to figure out what hose it is. These diagrams are pretty confusing. The guy at the parts store says it's a heater bypass hose but cannot find it in the system. What is the number for this hose and what is it exactly? Thanks

Got the hose. Looks pretty difficult to get to
The end behind the thermostat. Is there a DIY for this? Can I just take off the aluminum piece the plastic water neck bolts to? Looks like there might be some additional gaskets I'll need in the diagram. Looks like two o-rings?

You might get be better off removing the intake plenum? There are some pics here. I've never done this hose before, I bet @Torspd has though. I'm kinda starting to feel bad, I tag him in everything. Lol

The bottom tube is the one that hose connects to. Some needle nose pliers can reach in there and release the spring clamp.
Without removal of the thermostat housing.
