So since the stock fog lights look horrible on my hybrid bumper I found a alternative for fog lights.

    L.E.D. bars!

Not the redonculous expensive rigid lights though. I ordered these from blitzpro.com and fellow TW member Trifenix.

They are 6" bars with an output of 800 lumen per bar (as noted on the site.) Hopefully they wont be too bright to be used as fogs but aiming them at a downward angle should help.

    These

Will be mounted to a factory support piece under the headlight in the red circles.

Any inputs on this idea? Hopefully they get here tomorrow which is my day off:D

How do you plant to attach the factory support piece? If it's 90 degrees from the bar you might get a smiling look.

It's a weird piece but it runs straight under the headlight, it even has some holes in it already which I'm hoping will line up. No need to worry about the smile look but if it does occur I will cut some pieces of small but just big enough for the mounting bolts to make them even.

Ok, got my L.E.D. bars in today and installed them.

    Bar specs:
-Supplied by Blitzpro.com and member Trifinex
    -6" Bar
    -6 diodes
    -800 lumen each

My bumper would not allow use of factory fogs, mainly because they did not look right, so I purchased these to see if I could make em work.

I mounted them on what looks to be a support bar that runs under the headlights. It even had holes in it already!:D:D

Mounting them right to the support bar would make them be tucked up to high so I grabbed an old tie rod bar and cut 1.5" pieces to drop the lights down.

Due to them being out in the open and people having sticky fingers these days, I changed out all of the phillips screw heads and relace them them with hex heads. Yea you can still steal them but at least I made it more challenging:)

Next step was to wire them up to the stock fog harness. It was an easy one. It was my first time using heat wrap...it was pretty fun.

I aimed them down some as to not blind fellow drivers. The flood output is perfect.

Overall I love em and they look good on there.

Thanks Trifinex for the AWESOME lights and a sweet deal.

Sorry for some of the shitty photos.

That is really nice bumper. Is it custom made or they sell it off the shelf? Never mind, The don't make it for 1st gen.
