6" Fabtech coilover lift. 35/12.50/17 Mickey Thompson MTZ, 17x9 ProComp 1089 wheels painted black, UWS black lowprofile toolbox, husky liners, tacoma bed mat, bed lights, Premier stereo, Cobra 19 cb, firestik 3' antenna.
Well I was previously thinking about only getting the Billy 5100's up front and back and setting them to the 2.5" setting up front . I also wanted to get an AAL in the back. My 07 didn't need the rear TSB done. The more I'm reading the more I'm hearing about getting the 5100's and leaving them at the stock setting and getting OME coils....

Heres my question... What are OME coils? Thats probably a stupid question but IDK what all these abbreviations people use on here mean.

So by getting Billy 5100s at regular setting, OME coils I would have a 3" lift up front?

Would just an AAL be ok in the rear? How much lift comes from an AAL

I'm getting new tires soon... Nitto TG 265 75 16...I know that size shouldn't be an issue

Unlike OEM - Original Equipment Manufacturer

Potentially...but if you are going to do that, why not just get the OME coils and stock shocks?

Just an AAL as in no front lift? AAL's can give up to 3" of lift, but tend to 'settle' over time, not to mention they make for a much stiffer ride.

No sorry I shoulda been clearer. No matter what I'm wanting to achieve 3" in the front with no spacers and the best quality ride. I was wandering if AAL was my best option to set the back end up a little more than it already is. I know I read somewhere on here that someone put 3" up front and nothing in the back and the front sat higher than the rear. The AAL would be ok for me because I regularly haul pretty heavy loads.

So the if I just put the OME 884 springs in the front with nothing else...not even billy 5100s I will have 3" up front, correct? I'm just trying to make sure I'm understanding you right
