one thing i would look at is if they can be bypassed to where you can watch dvd's while driving.

how would i know if i can get past that? I thought you could just ground the parking wires and all that, no matter what DVD/Nav system you put in...But i'm new at the dvd/nav systems.;)

i know that the new pioneer n3 systems have to essentially voided of warranty to flip a switch on the board and if you have an n1-n2 (ie. me), you have to solder some contacts on the board if you upgrade the software to the new stuff. i'd look for some forums for the head unit that u want and see whats up w/ them. i have the old software on my n1 and all i had to do, like u said, was ground out the parking brake wire

EDIT: i know pb2...max something...lol..no offense...has a double din eclipse h u. pioneer makes a few of them. i'm pretty sure they are the z1/2 series. this forum here has a lot of pioneer know-how on things and have a buy/sell section, but u have to be registered...no cost or anything...

Very nice, i'll take it into consideration. I've always liked the pioneers, but just seemed to be a little on the expensive side. Thanks for the help.:)

yeah...some people like the double. another friend of mine has a double kenwood. i like my single b/c it retracts and if anyone was looking to steal radios, it looks just like a normal head unit when it closes in
