Hey guys, whats up. I've been looking for a Tacoma and came across this site. I found this used '10 not far from me and everything looks good but I had a couple of questions I thought someone could answer for me. I havent seen this truck in person yet.

First, This pic of the engine looks different than all the other ones I have seen. Is it just missing the cover? Is that an after market intake on it?

Second, it looks like maybe there is a lift on it? It's 2wd BTW.

    Thanks for any help.

yea, it's missing the engine cover and it is an aftermarket intake. stock kind of coils back then snakes over to the tire well. second, i dont think it has a lift, if it does it's only about an inch up front. the back definitely looks stock...it's got some nice tires though!

    welcome to TW!

Thanks for the responses. I guess the cover just won't fit with the intake on. Is that a mod you guys commonly do? I am coming from a lowered crew cab silverado, so this looks lifted to me LOL. Is there anything to look out for with aftermarket intakes and such? Guess I will head over to the performance section and dig around. Thanks.

it looks like a leveling kit IMO!!! b/c my truck looks the same except that i gotta AAL in the back...even with bigger tires it wouldnt look like that...more space in the fender wells!!! i think its got the Readylift leveling Kit which is what ive got on my 06
